  1. Run Gameex Configuration. Find the Vba emulator, then select it. (you will have to click on "Next Page" until you find it) Click on "next page" until you see Command Line. Post the information. Alternately, On the first page of the Vba emulator in the Gameex Configuration program, at the top is a "export" button. Click on that and save (desktop, wherever...) open the file, and cut and paste the contents into your next post. If you do it the second way, it gives more information, and may save us from asking for more stuff later.
  2. To be more specific...slacking in Florida! I can't tell you a whole lot from the pictures, but from what I've seen so far you won't have any trouble making the right decisions. I'm always here if you need to give somebody crap.

    Visual Pinball

If I remember right, I couldn't decompile my script either....With Brians' help, I started all over, and setup vpinball from scratch. Unfortunately, I'm out of town, and I can't look to see what we did. If you don't get it running before then, I will be happy to help when I get home.
  4. Sorry about the delay....Here are the text files for Bkenobi's Mame Loader. I pretty much used the .map files where I could, If I should have include all versions of the rom, let me know, and I'll update. See 2 Posts Down

    Mame issues

If I remember right, Bkenobi told me in another thread, that you can just use your mame.ini from your mame32. Just set it up in mame32, then copy it and use it in vanilla mame (is that right BK?)
  7. Thanks Guys!
  8. Brian gets all the love...I suppose my post didn't count at all.... Good job Brian! (I'm just messing with ya again!)
  9. Thanks Brian!
  10. I'm glad you recieved that cabinet I custom built for you! I hope they didn't scratch it in transit, I padded it the best I could, but you know how they can be... Anyway, I'm glad you love it, and I want you to know that I enjoyed working with you on this project. When can I expect payment?
  11. FYI - your Dell should have a service tag # on the outside, if you go to Dell.com, and enter that # (you probably have to go to "support") it will tell you exactly what was in the computer when it was built. I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but you don't list a video card, so you probably have "onboard" video. Or maybe you knew that already.....
  12. I'm going to try it, I've just been lazy this week, Working on getting my artwork together, and jukebox. I wanted to do something that potentially required less brain power. I still need to make those lists for you too....
  13. I didn't want to pollute the other thread... You gave no answer... Darn, I already installed, now what? I found this really cool utility, and corected all my tags, how do I get Gameex to recognize the new ones? (Seriously, I need to know this) I tried that, but it didn't work, why not? Just trying to help....

Check this out: http://www.mameworld.net/easyemu/mameguide/mamedossetup.htm And let us know if you need more help. Your Welcome!
  15. I'm always glad when I put a smile on someone's face.... I wanted to elaborate more myself, however, I thought it might not be appropriate. Let me say that: Ignorance has no boundaries, not citizenship, race, religious beliefs... And without ignorance, we coudn't have arrogance, racism, persecution...
  16. Tom, I had made mention before that I think the FAQ's should be at the top of the "stickied list", the last time I checked, it was #11.

    Autorun DVD

Justification is a wonderful thing.... (I always just blame it on "The voices in my head")

    Autorun DVD

I think this it what I was smelling...
  19. The Breakfast Club? Did you notice that's on my all-time favorites list? Apparently, just because I don't understand British humour, doesn't mean you can't understand U.S. humor....Or maybe it's just typical U.S. arrogance, We don't have to understand your humour, as long as you understand ours. (I'd put a here, but it's not funny, it's )
  20. You guys need to stop arguing about things you agree on! I'm not saying this is the end-all, but I have been looking at this: XFX GeForce 680i LT SLI Motherboard CPU Bundle Are you ready for dual-GPU computing? Whether you're a gamer or just a graphics buff, the XFX NFORCE 680I LT is an excellent chassis. It is designed for Intel processors like the Core 2 Extreme, Core 2 Extreme Quad, Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad, Celeron D, Pentium 4, and Pentium D series. It has 2 PCI Express x16 slots, perfect for running two SLI-ready GPUs. There are also 2 PCI Express x1 slots and 2 PCI slots. This Vista Ready motherboard features the NVIDIA nForce 680i LT SLI MCP Chipset. It supports RAID 0, 1, 0+1, 5 setups and SATA components. Other features include Onboard LAN, 8 possible USB ports, and NVIDIA technologies like FirstPacket, MediaShield Storage, nTune Utility, and more.Take advantage of this great offer! Buy this Motherboard in a bundle with an Intel Core 2 Quad 2.40GHz Socket 775 Processor! I think its $329 at tiger direct. Will this do? Somewhere else cheaper? I know I'll have to get faster memory, and a Graphics card (recomendations?), and I can get a 750Gb sata 300 hard drive for $140. And yes, I can run tempest on my celeron D, But I'm becoming obsessed, And I have Moljnir, Model2, ESPxe, FreeDO, and SSF running, but they won't run on my computer.
  21. I concur...I just put $100.00 in memory, and 60$ for the fan & processor. I'm pretty much done fooling around, And am looking at getting a new computer (should have done that first) The only thing that confuses me (well, not the only thing ) is that I have read that since the games are emulated, that graphic cards aren't important, but it seems that alot of people have pretty nice cards...What's the scoop? I would like to try and get this right the second time...
  22. I would try to use a different theme, And check to make sure you are using directx 9.0c, not 10.
  23. I checked again today just to make sure before I replied, my bios won't let me change the bus speed. I have 6 options regarding CPU information: Hyper Threading..........Enabled CPU Speed.................Normal (other option is compatible) Bus Speed..................400 MHz Processor 0 ID............F29 Clock Speed............1.3GHz Cache Size..............512 Kb The first two have white text, and I can change them, The last four have blue text, and can't be change (as far as I can tell) Any other Ideas? Is there a way to update my bios to allow for these changes?
