  1. PinballX.inilog.txt Here you go.
  2. I'm not sure if this is related or not but when I take screengrabs now the playfield image is black. I upgraded to 6.05 and I still have the issue, I saw something in another post about adjusting LAV settings. I don't know where to find those. I do have an AMD setup. I'm not sure if that helps.
  3. Correct Tom, it's working during the game, just hidden when I take a screenshot.
  4. I'll check my settings and see thanks. (Although I think it wouldn't be showing at all if it was disabled.) I never had a real DMD, just the setup you see above. (DMD on 2nd screen)
  5. PinballX.ini That's my screen grab. The DMD was visible during the game, but it didn't show on the screen grab. I have more than 1 game doing this. log.txt
  6. Once I've added a game in the system, I take a screenshot. Even with the DMD clearly visible on the screen, the screenshot does not show the DMD. It's like the DMD loses focus when taking the screenshot. I have a 2 screen setup. To be clear, I have a DMD at all times during a game. But the DMD does not show up in the screen grab. This only started a couple months ago. I'm running 6.03 and W7 on a 2 screen cab. No VR, DOF, PUP, etc. Just good old fashioned 1080p pinball.
  7. Question 3 should have another choice. I edit them myself in notepad.
  8. Define old lol. This pc I'm testing on I built for my cab about 8 years ago. It has an I-5 2400k. 16gb of ram. I overbuilt it at the time so I could use it as a dual purpose. Now my pinball cab has it's own pc (Ryzen 5 running 7). My bartop is a very old HP (2008) with 2gb ram. But it only runs windows, Mame, and Stella. It's even running integrated graphics (no card), with no issues. I basically installed 7 on it and turned off updates. It's only running like 32 processes which I think is why I have no issues.
  9. Thanks guys for trying on these, I know they are very old, but I got a kick out of them. They've been on my old pc for quite a while, and I decided to add them to my bartop. Astrobeer: Has a FS option via F2 Beertruck: I tried Mike's version, and didn't get FS. It does have the option via F4. Yeastman: I can't find anything to make it FS. I don't think there is an option. I was hoping there was a way within windows to make the file open a certain way. Like an AHK script or something. Astrobeer, Beertruck: I could use X Padder to potentially remap a couple keys, but I don't want to do it at a global level. I'm afraid I might affect other Mame games already in my bartop. Is there a way within an AHK script to do the same thing as X Padder? Like pressing this key triggers F4 or something like that? Just an idea. I forgot to mention I'm running 7, but that shouldn't make too much of a difference.
  10. Hmm, I tried it briefly on this PC and it worked once. Then I added it to my bartop and it didn't (opened small). Then I retried it on this PC and it didn't work. I'm checking that link as far as remapping keys, thanks.
  11. Only Beertruck has the F4 option, the others don't have any options that I can find. Is it possible via AHK to remap keys on a different game?
  12. Awesome thank you! I'll try it out later today. I know AHK files are simple, but I haven't done them before. Could I use this same file for the other games (just rename)?
  13. Sorry, it's Beertruck that requires F4 for Full Screen. The other 2 games don't have this option. I'm using Pinball X without VP on my bartop, so everything is being done via other systems. So I have Mame and other systems setup. Thanks Guys.
  14. I need someone better versed in this than myself. I have these 3 games working. I'd like them to start out maximized. One of these has an F4 option for full screen, the other 2 games don't. But I don't want to have a keyboard hooked to my bartop constantly. These aren't Mame games, they are custom (.exe only). I think they were made with Gamemaker 4. So, I'd like them to start full screen, and possibly remap a couple keys on Astrobeer. Anyone want a crack at it?? astrobeer.zip Beertruck.zip Yeastman.zip
  15. Now I finally have it working under the alternativeexe, thanks! I've never been a fan of the round wheels myself. Thanks for the help! I also have Trapshoot and Trapshoot plus working under this. Now I have to find wheels for them. Those are special to me because when I was an operator, my dad and I had several of those. You would take the transmitter back to your table and play from across the room. A strong CB radio would mess with the game sometimes.
  16. Finally got around to trying this, and it didn't work. I'm not getting any errors, it's just opening the .exe I had setup in the first place, not the new one. Maybe I can get creative since I know I have the code right. Thanks for trying. This particular cab does not have vp on it at all.
  17. Gotcha, thanks. I had it working a while ago on my cab to use vp9 and 9.21 as I had first posted. I used that as a start. This particular cab only has Mame, no vp. I gave my Mame it's own cab finally.
  18. So you mean like this? <game name="Ice Cold Rootbeer f3"> <description>Ice Cold Rootbeer</description> <manufacturer>Taito</manufacturer> <alternateexe>Ice Cold Rootbeer f3.exe<alternateexe/> <year>1983</year> <type>Maze</type> </game>
  19. I'm not sure if I have the alternate exe line right, but all 3 exe's are in the same folder.
  20. I have 3 versions of Shockman's Ice Cold Beer. These are not the VP versions!! They have all have an .exe. I have Ice Cold Beer working in Pinball X, but I'd like to add the Rootbeer version, and Zeke's Peak- without creating new systems for all of them. If I use the extra <exe/> line, I can't get it to work, it only opens the original .exe I had setup for ICB. Maybe I don't have it right. <?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?> <menu> <game name="Ice Cold Beer_mod3"> <description>Ice Cold Beer</description> <manufacturer>Taito</manufacturer> <year>1983</year> <type>Maze</type> </game> <game name="Ice Cold Rootbeer f3"> <description>Ice Cold Rootbeer</description> <manufacturer>Taito</manufacturer> <EXE>Ice Cold Rootbeer f3<EXE/> <year>1983</year> <type>Maze</type> </game> <game name="Zeke's Peak"> <description>Zeke's Peak</description> <manufacturer>Taito</manufacturer> <EXE>Zeke's Peak<EXE/> <year>1983</year> <type>Maze</type> </game> </menu>
  21. I know this is old, but are you talking about the Shockman version? If so, how did you get that to work with PinballX?
  22. Sorry for the holdup. I'm not really that well versed in command prompts. I tried adding [ ] to the tablepath, and it couldn't find it. I do not have spaces in my current path. Would it be easier to just have PBX open the .exe and I pick the game?
  23. log.txtPinballX.ini Here you go.
  24. I had it that way initially. I changed it back to Stella.exe and it still crashes back. Last night I had it seem to open to a black screen. I don't remember what I used, but it didn't have focus as the folders I had open were on top of the black screen. That was the closest I came.
  25. I tried [TABLEPATH]\[TABLEFILE] and it just crashed back to the menu. log.txt PinballX.ini I also tried stella.exe -fullscreen 1 "[TABLEPATH]\[TABLEFILE]" same thing.
