  1. What's happening on you end? I'm getting the message asking if I want to accept you and I choose yes then my game fires up but you're not there I'm in the GameEx chat room Stu
  2. anyone want to give this a try? I think I have it all setup ok, it says no games found when I choose Mame net play... I'm hoping that's because nobody is playing at the moment rather than me having screwed something up I have a request sent for 1944 if anyone wants to join Stu
  3. Thanks Tom... how do I go about changing the capital I in my gamertag name to a small i Stu
  4. I'm not having much luck getting my tag to work, I've installed the reg key but my tag never gets updated the log says I've disabled the windows firewall I've attached the full log Stu log.txt
  5. I'm going to set this up this evening after work and give it a try, I just requested my gamer card though so I'll have to get that working first. I must say I'm a bit pissed of Tom no Northern Ireland in the list of countries when selecting a flag... and there was me thinking we were the economic epicentre of the world way to burst my bubble Stu
  6. Thanks fRequEnCy that sorted me right out You would think I would've learned to use the search button by now Stu
  7. I've recently setup an HTPC and last night I decided to install GameEx a go on it so I don't always have to fire up my arcade machine to play a few games. I tested a couple of emulators and they worked fine but when I launch zsnes or project64 through GameEx every 17 seconds my games stutter for about 1 sec then carry on as normal. Around the same time iMon LCD panel on the front of my case turns itself off and on again and I'll here the USB disconnected/connected sound. It's as if GameEx is trying to connect to the iMon every 17 seconds but my iMon doesn't like it causing it to reboot which causes the games to stutter. The iMon works perfectly fine until GameEx is running Stu
  8. When I started NullDC using RUN then the script started NullDC ok but then the script closes and GameEx tries to return to fullscreen which caused NullDC to crap itself and crash. By using RUNWAIT to launch NullDC then the script remains open until NullDC closes and GameEx and NullDC get along merrily Stu
  9. nullDC_Win32_Release-NoTrace.exe -config ImageReader:DefaultImage="[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" Well I'll be damned, I coulda swore I tried that command last night and it didn't work for me so I assumed it had been done away with in the latest version but I just tried it again it works perfect Now I wish I hadn't wasted the last 1.5hrs getting my own loader working turns out I was using AutoHotKeys RUN command instead of RUNWAIT Oh well at least I got that feeling of achievement before releasing it was a waste of time Thanks Stu
  10. How? I don't see any command line options for the latest version. It would certainly save me a lot of bother if it does. Stu
  11. Can you try running it outside of GameEx, use the RunLastGame.bat that GameEx creates. It's in your GameEx\DATA\ folder.
  12. I couldn't find any loader for the latest NullDC so I thought I'd make my own The loader works perfect for me on 2 computers if I run it via a batch file but anytime I run it via GameEx NullDC crashes instantly. I really can't understand it, after it crashes and returns to GameEx I can minimize GameEx and run the RunLastGame.bat and everything will work perfect but for some reason when GameEx tries to run it by itself it fails miserably I've included the ahk script and compiled exe Just pass the name of the image and it will set a few settings in nullDC.cfg and start "nullDC_Win32_Release-NoTrace.exe" StartNullDC.exe "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" Advanced Config: [Mapping Off] Exit (ALT+F4) Stu StartNullDC.zip
  13. You should be seeing the GUI, there aren't any command line options for it, as far as I'm aware Stu
  14. No it asks if your want to install their browser tool bar but you just say no, it's just a reduced functionality version, no image conversion and limits the number of virtual drive you can have. Stu
  15. I'm using Daemon Tools on Windows 7 x64 and it works perfect, I'm just using the latest free version from their site Stu
  16. The batch file just loads my Xpadder profile before launching SFF then loads my default Xpadder profile after SFF closes Stu E: CD E:\GameEx\Utilities\Xpadder Xpadder.exe /M "Profiles\USP1-SSF" "profiles\USP2-SSF" E: CD "E:\Sega Saturn\SSF" START /WAIT "SSF" SSF.exe E: CD E:\GameEx\Utilities\Xpadder Xpadder.exe /M "Profiles\USP1-Blank" "profiles\USP2-Blank"
  17. SSF should remember the last state it was in, well thats what mine does, so just fire it up, alt+enter for fullscreen and then press escape to exit. My config is below, I use daemon tools to mount my images because GameEx image loader doesn't support compressed mds+mds Stu [Emulator_18] Enabled=True STARTPAGENAME=Sega Saturn TITLETEXT=Sega Saturn StartPageLogo=Saturn ROMFilter=*.mds RomsInFolders=True RomPath=E:\Sega Saturn\Roms SnapPath=E:\Sega Saturn\Snaps WorkingPath=E:\Sega Saturn\SSF MapKeys=False WaitBeforeKeys=5 SendKeys=1 ReplaceDash=True ReplaceUnder=True Capitals=True RemoveBrackets=False ShowDesktop=False Debug=False MAPFile= AlsoLaunch= Command=runSSF.bat OLDatZip= TitlePath=E:\Sega Saturn\Titles BoxPath=E:\Sega Saturn\BoxScans LaunchBefore=""C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite\daemon.exe" -mount 0,"[RomPath]\[RomFile]"" LaunchAfter="C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite\daemon.exe" -unmount 0 CartPath=E:\Sega Saturn\CartScans configFile= ExcludedFiles= CustomBackground= PlayMusic=False PCGame=False DATABASE=[Console] Sega Saturn DumbyValue= GamesIn7Zips=False PlayInScreenSaver=True ManualPath=E:\Sega Saturn\Manuals DontShowInfo=False ShowMostPlayed=True RandomMostPlayed=True CDCheck=False CDCheckFile= PlaySelectionMusic=False SelectionMusicFolder= lastgame= ControlPanelPath= InstructionsPath= UseDbName=False CustomArtName1= CustomArtPath1= CustomArtName2= CustomArtPath2= CustomArtName3= CustomArtPath3= MergeSets=
  18. I'll second SSF Great emulator if you have the CPU to run it Stu
  19. I've done some quick tests on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate and it seems to be working ok, it crash with various controller plugins but the "nullDC Controller [WinHook] (May 13 2010)" is working fine If Bangai-O worked I'd be happy Stu
  20. Does anyone have Bangai-O working on this release? I haven't updated NullDC for a very very long time and my Bangai-O image works fine on nullDC_100b1_6 from way back in 2007 but on this latest version it just boots to a black screen. On the older release it boots to a screen that asks me to select either 50 or 60 hertz Stu
  21. Anyone here know how to inject javascript into an html file? I'm trying to setup Trouble Ticket Express The create ticket form has 2 drop down boxes one to allow you to assign the ticket to a user and another to assign the ticket to a predefined group. Both these default to "-- please select --" What I'd like is for the "Assign to" field to be set to the "-- any operator --" value and the Department to be set to "-- none --" I was asking the people that make Trouble Ticket Express and they said this can easily be done by injecting Javascript code to newticket.html template But my html and javascript abilities are none existant Thanks Stu newticket.zip
  22. yeah its from the TOCA edit, he's just moved it to google code, definitely seems like it could be handy as games developers get ever more lazy Stu
  23. Just tested Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing on my cabinet and it works at 640x480 for all you arcade monitor people out there like myself. Split screen racing too, though the controls aren't the handiest to setup, it only likes Xbox360 joypads and 1 keyboard user, use Xbox360CE to emulate a Xbox360 joypad if you're not using one
  24. I just stumbled across this nifty wee piece of software Xbox360CE It makes your PC thinks your joypad is actually an Xbox 360 joypad for those odd PC games that only support Xbox 360 joypads e.g. Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Stu
  25. Well I got up his morning and tried the arcade again and all is well again I think I know what the problem is though, it only seems to crash when I am connect to the arcade using vnc if I get off my lazy ass and go down and try it, it all works perfect. It's strange though as I used to always be able to connect to the arcade using vnc and run GameEx to test stuff without any trouble so I don't know if it is something in GameEx that has change or possibly a new version of vnc. Stu
