Yeah - I do like schmups - favorite nostalgia genre. Chose my sticks specifically for these games. Problem is, I'm going to be 87 before I finish my cab to play any and my reaction times may be a little slower by then. Oh, and also out of all the gizmos me cab's got - I omitted the rotating montior! doh! Oh well - have to spend another 3 years making a dedicated scmup cab.

Damn - now that'd been a good source a few months ago! I've got a terrible feeling that Flash may hit us up again with a long list soon, given all the db renovations.

(as in Windows Home Server-Box) Dunno if I should post this here, really, but this may prove useful if you've got a Home Network and/or Server/NAT/WHS. I knocked it together this weekend to help with another project I'm doing and it kinda got its own steam. Basically, a small app that allows you to use you home server like dropbox (although you could also use it for managing shares etc). Main purpose for me was around assets management and also that cool 'right click to get the public URL' thing that dropbox does! Oh, and of course, it means that you can host all your own stuff so as not to burden the fellas at dropbox. It's one of my faves too! Was blown away when played Litlle Big Planet - it was like playing on PS3 or something - dunno if that was down to the upscaling. (Oh, and then there's Wipeout, of course..... )

Is the Dolphin Bar necessary if you have the AimTrak IRs set up? Haven't touched Dolphin for a while, but I seem to remember the AT IRs being enough - dunno about accuracy/glitchiness or anything though! Only mention if budget matters. Maybe try out with the AT IRs first?

Depends what yer after. As tthurman recalled - I was after schmuppy-tastic sticks so went for: Seimitsu LS-56. However, these do have short standing height.
