  1. Just so you know I added this setting for the latest release of Arcade Edition as I wanted it. Its just not documented. If you manually set disablemame=true in the ini it will work.
  2. Buddy, you have no idea what you did to me. I just went down the rabbit hole and ended up with an RTX!
  3. Buddy, this is starting to get comical! We have PinballX here. It is a different product. Tom.
  4. Maybe its to help Bill's electricity bill. He' got to cut back a bit. Cash flow problems apparently. Either that or a forced EU patch.
  5. Having thought about it my best guess at this is the pc is coming out of standby or hibernation?
  6. I just updated on the cab. Sorry to say, but I'm not seeing any of that here. Tom.
  7. Yes, it is how it is suppose to work. Ill have to build a windows 7 setup and take a look...
  8. I know windows 10 does not like multiple GPUs. I had to buy a new card to resolve my issues. If you've tried a reboot then you will have to use an x/y offest for the backglass.
  9. No worries, I changed the topic title.. Again, the only reason I am aware of where attract mode is cancelled is because of keyboard or gamepad input. After you get the issue, use notepad and windows virtual keyboard to check for keyboard input. Then check the windows gamepad settings to ensure no buttons or directions are down.
  10. Try setting PinballX to "full screen windowed" (not meaning widowed)
  11. Its recommended to install and use them for everyone.. It provides much better performance and stability. That is always our first troubleshooting advice with anything related to videos.
  12. If form 1 is showing then it means b2s is showing and not a video within PinballX.
  13. Do we have a log with it not launching? I don't see one and that is the topic. If attract mode is not starting it is because PinballX thinks a control is pressed. That is the only possible thing it can be. On my cab its tilt that causes this is sometimes.
  14. Wow, that was an easy one for me
  15. Yeah, that's how I would expect it to work right now. Its so the next backglass video can render without any black frames/skip. I never use B2S in the front end myself.
  16. No worries. Your welcome. Good luck. Ive never tried to set PinballX up with an integrated gpu and external. Its not a common setup and since windows 10 multiple gpus is a bad idea for pinball. Cheers. Tom.
  17. the ini should not break the setupwizard. You will just not have settings. messing with other stuff might. Again, I think you spent so long trying to fix your initial display problem you messed with everything too much and we are just digging a deeper hole. Dont make it read only, if the auto position is not working just turn that setting off. Im moviing on from this for now. Sure you will figure it out from here.
  18. SW does not change any system settings etc. PinballX does. Is there an error message or something? No issue using the ini if you like but its obviously not documented. Your monitor numbers look wrong. I think you need to swap backglass and playfield (display). Then: AutoPositionB2S=true and AutoPositionPinMAME=True. Unless you got something reallly fancy going on, it should just do it all for you.
  19. Again, feel free to backup first but the auto position options in PinballX could save you a lot of time but you need to set the dmd and backglass properly in PinballX. You were using an x offset rather than the correct display number which is why you needed to reposition your displays.
  20. There were also a couple of fixes in 5.14 that may help you.
  21. PS: You can imagine that if this was possible it could cause a lot of user issues as gamepad changes would break everything.
  22. Seriously, all you should need to do now, is properly set your displays up in PinballX and enable auto position PinMAME and auto position b2s. then launch your tables.
