Other thing could be a rights issue. eg. zacarra or steam set run as admin.

Yes, it can certainly be done but best start with the basics. In a nutshell though - Once you have used the built in way of setting up MAME as deigned, it will create an up to date database that can then be used to setup multuple versions of MAME as a standard emulator with use "database names" You could then use a group to make a single list. You will lose some of the GameEx specific MAME features such as bypass disclaimers, recommended games, control panel, fighting game commands and 3D cabinets. If you want different settings for vertical games you can do this in MAME without two separate versions by using vertical.ini in MAME. There is also horizontal.ini and vector.ini and per game .ini. It is a feauture of MAME not the front end.

PS: Look, I'm not the internet police, I only fight battles I can win, and I lost my ego with youth. All I normally ask is don't take the piss, which is not much. So at the least have some common sense and keep your mouth shut. Capice?

I replied to your email. However if you want a public statement on the matter: If not clear to you or anyone else - I do not want me, my colleagues, friends, family or my business associated with or exposed to certain things that could cause damage to me or them. Thank you. Tom. IE: Just because there is no visible cost to something does not mean there is still a cost and myself and those close to me are NOT going to pay it if I can help it. The op posted link to downloads with the videos that included an all in one drive images of Windows, PinballX, Visual Pinball and tables and media.

pinballx game manager updating lite version of pinballx and not regular
Tom Speirs replied to Rosieodonell's topic in General
To fix it should be as simple as installing again and ensuring the lite option is NOT selected. -
It may be an issue with your database. Both table name AND type need to be exact.

I just wanted to remind people out there three years ago Freezy's groundbreaking 100% open VPDB project went live and has had free hosting by me since with not even requests for donations and has experienced 99.99% uptime.. Go to VPDB.io What if there was a platform that would make it possible to download a game and everything related in one single click? A platform that comes with a tool that downloads and names content like it should be while respecting the author's work? That takes under a minute to set up? Something a newcomer would be instantly comfortable with? A platform where you can browse online, that is fast, open and beautiful, where searching for games is a matter of milliseconds and everything related to a game is in one place? A platform that is so simple to use that preloading cabs or burning DVDs wouldn't even make sense because it would be too cumbersome in comparison? A tool that would assist table authors in publishing their great work, where multiple authors can maintain a release and are properly credited? A tool that sits on your cab, is connected to the platform and updates games when the user tells it to? Even remotely, or even automatically as soon as the author of a game releases a new version? VPDB aims to be that platform. VPDB stands for Virtual Pinball Database. It can do many things you might even once have dreamt about. It's technology coming from members of the virtual pinball community who happen to be software engineers in professional life. It's a platform that makes it fun again to upload, browse, download, rate and comment on content created by this beautiful community. We've coded this up from scratch in our spare time and offer it as a free platform. The code is open source, that means everybody can install VPDB in their own environment and tinker with it. We also offer a public and documented API, giving access to our database to any third party applications you might come up with. The reason we've done this is because we believe that innovation comes from providing openly the tools necessary so they can be improved and live on. In such a vibrant community like this, where people provide hard and beautiful work at no cost, we think this is specially important. View the full article

Controller issue (one press causes multiple presses)
Tom Speirs replied to Quadrasputnik's topic in General
I have had a look, the repeat rate is 600 milliseconds which should be plenty. However it is global across all buttons/directions. So I suspect the issue is because you have a button held down or there is an issue with getting the system tick count but this would screw up a lot of things. -

Attach your logs and I will give you a patch to test.

[RESOLVED] Mupen 64 emulator - command line for full screen
Tom Speirs replied to hellothere's topic in General
I don't know but I would suggest using parralax with Retroarch. It was the best PC N64 emulation when I looked into it last year. -
