  1. I think you might be out of luck without a better video card. Sorry.
  2. It should aready do this. Select "Only Play Videos" in the Game to Video ratio drop down.
  3. What sort of video card do you have? This sort of error normally means your video card is not up to the job. Things to try are: Use a different resolution or have GameEx not set the resolution. Use a different theme. Use a different video card. Dont use advanced GFX. Use 16 bit colour.
  4. You cant queue up individual videos (as of yet), but GameEx should have functionality to play all videos in a directory automatically one after another or randomly.
  5. Yep, need the log and info on the system.
  6. Thanks for reporting the bug CatsCreator. It's fixed my end now, and will be in the next release.
  7. http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?sh...1640entry1640
  8. I can confirm Roms in folders is not implemented. Sorry. [Glad you figured out the Num Lock script. So much more fun when you do it yourself]
  9. You can still do this by using AutoIt or something similar, compiling the script and telling GameEx to launch the script at startup. You just need to do a little investigation into AutoIt or say AutoHotKey (which I believe your already using?) Perhaps some kind sole will provide a script for you.
  10. Setting Num Lock to be on by default is normally something you can do in the BIOS, no? GameEx does already have options to launch stuff at startup (also launch), so you could probably use one of the available macro or scripting tools to do this.
  11. When it launches Cliff Hanger every time, what does the dialog that shows briefly in GameEx say. Does it say launching Cliff Hanger or the correct game? Sounds like this might be a daphne issue.
  12. It has to be because of your video card or drivers and I cant offer much help, but its odd it only affects this screen.
  13. Its really is nothing to worry about, its just checking one of my web sites for registration and gameex version information, dont know what ripe.net is or why it would go to the netherlands. I will most likely do more with this functionality in the future to let the user know if theres an update available, or auto update. As I said its deffinitly not malicious or anything.
  14. Is this when viewing the controls while MAME is running or from within GameEx? Please detail your setup.
  15. It runs fine for me under French (Belgium) and as far as I know I have quite a few other non english users, I think GameEx even works on Chinese systems and other systems like this so not really sure what the issue is. It must have been some customizations to the regional settings (rather than just language) that caused it, and if you can pinpoint it down it would be helpful. GameEx really should not be using any special regional stuff such as currency, the error seems a really odd one to me. Cheers. Tom
  16. Next few days if all goes well, although I am suffering at the moment with a cold/infection.
  17. Not heard of that error before, and I am guessing this is a new install, so I suggest you uninstall GameEx and Delete the directory from \program files then download and install again.
  18. Video is a different matter, can OGM files play in Windows Media player?
  19. Actually it only encodes WAV's I found something else free to convert files though.
  20. Its really easy for me to add FLAC support. Can someone please email me some decent FLAC files so I can test it? Thanks, Tom
  21. You mean the purple one? If so I am really sorry, a forum user contributed a theme (deep purple) that included it, do you want me to remove it? Or do you mean something else?
  22. Need to be under 2MB, email it to me.
  23. What videos are you using, wher'd you get them from? What sort of system do you have?
  24. Actually its not implemented yet but I am working on it. The last thing added to emulators was actually two things recently the ability to navigate through artwork full screen without going back and the option to continue playing music/jukebox when launching a game.
  25. Hi, this is fixed now in the latest version of GameEx so go grab it, should be up to 5.55 now.
