seems to be working now i reinstalled it in a different directory and I also took out an old version of .net framework now i have version 1.1 ans 2.0 installed.

I recently reinstalled gameex after a hard drive crash. I reinserted the registry. Then I put gameex into startup so that it would immediatly startup but for some reason it crashes. It will run if I just click on the gameex icon but not in startup. Some one please help. I also turned up alot of services any service needed to run in startup?

on certain games like pacman and magic sword a border is around the game itself is there anyway to turn that off so that it fills the screen or doesn't have the border.

still getting the same problem in 5.70 release please help when you get a chance thanks.

I customized my keyboard input settings because I have a mame cabinet. when I try to alpha page it sometimes freezes up or the alpha paging won't turn off.

I stilll think Gameex is awesome but I tried your advise and i am still getting a mame game as a screensaver instead of a video. I tried changing it twice after saving it and it saves it but it still does the mame game with no video. I made sure it took the save and then i rebooted but still no change.

Is it possible to have the screen saver in gameex loop to a video of your choosing. I only want the video to play and not any mame games.

This is the best da@! frontend ever. I am new and I need a little help tweaking gamex for my needs. I have it working 99% percent the way I want just wanted to know if there is a way to turn off the part that shows start in the upper left hand corner. I know it's peddie but is it possible? I would actually not like anything to show in the upper left corner in the different menus. Thanks for your help and please don't flame.

I like the way mame is laid out but I don't want it to be the first page that pops up how do I configre gamex so that it look like this on my first page All MAME games Multiplay MAME games Neo Geo Jukebox Pinball etc....

headkaze could you upload your config file for gamex. I specifically am having problems with vp. I saw your other post but I am still doing something wrong. thanks

To uninstall it do the following. CTRL-ALT-DEL and then open a new task explorer. Then you may have to do an ALT-TAB to see explorer. Once you are in explorer you will have to go to the directory that instantsheller is in and then run instantsheller again. It is a little tricky to get around because your mouse icon is a very small dot. If you scroll it over file it will turn blue then you have an idea where it is. Good Luck
