What happens when you go to http://127.0.0.1:8383 in a browser when GameEx is running. Not too sure what's going on. Looks OK. I am guessing its your firewall software, or you need to run GameExtender on your actual lan card ip. You could also try a different port. Maybe its used by something else.

It displays the control panel viewer, not the snap. Please verify its not working for a game that GameEx can create a dynamic cp for. Post your gameex.ini and Ill take a look at your settings.

Looks sound. In regards to the L key might just be that game does not have a control panel. 1941 doesn't for example. It looks like GameExtender is starting up OK, please give me some detail on what you have tried and what does not work.

Hi, Thanks for the feedback, I have to agree if I say so myself, it is pretty cool GameEx loads GameExLogo.png from the current theme, so you can create a modified theme (I am guessing your using Purple Theme), and replace that image. I plan to add a bit more info to the box on the bottom right, along with extending the normal LCD features to show more. It should show the current Game Snap in the top right, if you have one, do you have one??

BobRoss, Are you using a new theme such as the tron theme? Try using the default theme.

Have you set the language to custom? This is needed to override the included languages text.

In that case -this issue is normally one of two things: 1. Your paths are still not correct 2. Your using either an old or unsupported version of MAME that is missing command line options required by GameEx (I am guessing this is it). Also ensure your mame on its own is working.

yes it supports zips. Did you update the list?

No ideas sorry. You could try a different version of MAME.

GameEx is exiting attract mode because it is detecting the F9 key on your keyboard. Can you think if any reason why F9 is pressed on your system?
