  1. Ill check it out but its odd, all its doing is showing a window as a dialog. Are you using the latest version of UltraVNc? Have you tried Remote Desktop, GameEx should be compatible with that now and I only peronally use UltraVNC when remote desktop is not an option, mainly on my low res arcade cab. Ill check it out though see if it works for me.
  2. It works on a queue mechanism, you have to either go into the playlist or select start player. I will be making a few improvements to it. Alhough it does seem most Karaoke stuff does not have tags for some reason.. When you say ages, how long?
  3. OK, can you confirm 5.76 works please?
  4. Its because Im uploading 5.76 as we speak.
  5. Yep your absolutely right. Seems like recent versions of the install have been missing the tag reading DLL. Obviously I thought it was fine because I had the DLL. Doh! This explains the other jukebox issues now too. I'm upping 5.76 now. Cheers for helping me figure it out, as I know if it aint working for you I've deffinitly screwed up.
  6. Could you see if you have any Karaoke Dat files in the data directory and post them? You have both the .cdg's and mp3'3 in the folder yes?

    Audio Problem

Can you all see if the problem is fixed in 5.75?
  8. 1st March February 2006 - GameEx 5.75 Lots of little fixes and tweaks to things that I wont mention, but its always a good idea to get the latest version of GameEx. Enhancements in this version: New Karaoke Jukebox for registered users! Configuration application now loads and runs much much quicker. New functionality in Configuration application to import and export emulator configurations to a file, or import included emulator configurations. I hope people like this feature, it should help newbies and people sharing configurations. http://gameex.net
  9. I cant easily pinpoint what is causing this, can give some specific details about the size and position of your gamelist in your theme, and also pinpoint when it selects the wrong game, such as when at the bottom of the list of after a page? Cheers. EDIT: Also see if 5.75 is any better.
  10. Bassically thats what it does it - parses out all of the (U)[!] and REV information. So its basically the goodname with or without that info, works either way, but obviously the main filename needs to be correct, it does not use any other logic other than remove the above.
  11. Sorry, it was on the news page. Check it out. Thank you for it. There were some bugs in GameEx I needed to fix to get it to work right. Should work fine in latest release though. Thanks again.
  12. This is either a bug or a simple support question. If the latter you need to press "BACK" or "HOME" controls. See here for controls of GameEx: http://tomspeirs.com/gameEx/docs.htm
  13. This should be fixed in 5.74, can anyone confirm? Cheers.
  14. This normally occurs on systems with crappy on-board video cards. You might be out of luck on this system, but things to try are. - 16 Bit Colour - Lower resolution - Turn off Advanced graphics. Or buy a normal video card.
  15. Like with the emulators there should be a create snaps option in the video module. Make sure Creat Snaps is enabled, and you should see it above Play all when in Videos. Let me know if you need more help. Tom.
  16. Yes correct I am working on the issues first. I am being honest here but I have not even had a chance to look at 1.1. Although rest assured I am still spending tons of time on GameEx. Other than that your'll just have to wait, I don't like providing estimates as this is supposed to be fun for me, and I know for Headkaze too.
  17. Sorry for not getting back sooner, but everyting looks fine with your config, not sure why there not showing up. But it could be you need to update the MAME list again. Try reinistalling (over the top) and make sure you update the list.
  18. If you open up the link it should tell you what servers.
  19. Thought you'd disappeared Dave! Glad your still lurking. Another opton is just to list all games, and go through the list hitting delete in GameEx to filter them out.
  20. > I have tried it in the past, however I get tired with having to wait for the sceeen to go away, I am inpatient. No offence but what are you doing here then?
  21. Not sure if it will get used or how it will work out, by I've setup a GameEx IRC chat room here: http://tomspeirs.com/gameex/chat.php
  22. I personally have no idea if it does it like Mamewah, but it does have quite a lot of filters for mame, and filename filtering and exclusion for emulators. Why not have a play, and let us know how it compares? Tom.
  23. I noticed this topic talks about two completly seperate issues by the way, GameEx playing videos and MAME snap videos, they both work completly differently and are not related at all.
  24. I assume we are talking about these videos? http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=45467.0 I'm downloading the torrent now. Mario.avi downloaded already and I tested GameEx with that one game and avi, and it seems to work fine for me, so don't know what's going on with you guys. Do ALL videos not work for you? I know there was an issue with the DivX official decoder switching window focus, as it comes with some extra bloat. I am using FFDSHOW daily build Nov 25 2005.
  25. This is when using a V2 theme, yes?
