  1. Thanks for your help mate (I do appreciate it). Seems I hit it on the head. I've just upped 5.46 that has the fix.
  2. I did change something, seems the right change. Ill get a new build out ASAP so I don't scare of the newbies.
  3. I am a little puzzled about this, I can't see anything wrong in the code. Maybe you could try swapping you gamepad out to another port. I am aware of the button discrepancy, but I think, although I could be wrong this issue is specific to your system there. Sorry, no other ideas for now.
  4. Can you try replacing GameEx.ee with the one in the attached ZIP. Ta. GameEx.zip
  5. Hi Vynce, Can you turn off Sound FX in GameEx and see if it makes any difference? Thanks.
  6. OK the fact that runitgame is blank probably helps me. Sounds like an exception is occuring. Can you try the attached EXE? thanks. GameEx.zip
  7. Also, is GameEx still running in task manager?
  8. runitgame.bat in the data directory. GameEx creates that file every time it runs a game. Should deffinitly be something in it. GameEx checks if that is running to resume rather than MAME. Unless its some other bug, I am guessing that is not ending. See what you find. Cheers.
  9. Hi, sorry my fault it's a bug. Will be fixed in next release. Cheers.
  10. Also, can you run runitgame.bat and make sure that it it does not leave a command window open after quiting MAME. Its all working fine for me. Do you have something in the run after ?
  11. What version of MAME are you using, did you upgrade?

Hi, I thought I said this, but you can send keys when the emu exits by using an advanced emulator config file. At least you should be able to, no? Look at the example Zsnes V2.
  13. Hi, as it said it "should" show on the start page as long as you have either at least 1 emu or mame setup. If it's not showing up in those cases it must be a bug, and as I said please post a screenshot for me to help.. Cheers. Tom
  14. Yes, its come a long way. The laptop sounds OK, just the video card. You could check for newer drivers, and also check nothing else is conflicting. Also try running dxdiag.exe
  15. Sorry, I think you might be out of luck. I think your video card may not be up to the job. 2 things to try though: Turn off advanced graphics. Use a lower resolution.
  16. Can you tell me what sort of hardware you have including video card? Also try the 16-bit colour setting.
  17. Thanks buddy. That's a coincidence you said that, as I just updated the docs page with the info! Yep, just down to time and priorities, your existing feature request is still there and remembered Thanks, Tom
  18. Hi, not 100% what your asking, sounds like your doing some weird stuff with GameEx there! Can you post a screenshot? The favorites item should show on the start page if its enabled and you have either at least 1 emulator or mame setup. Is it not?
  19. Yes its likely something simple, and latest mame versions do work. You need to change the mame command line in GameEx advanced MAME config and remove the skip and bypass settings text. They were removed from MAME.
  20. UPDATE: Latest version has much better remote desktop support.
  21. Ill try and help. Can you post the entire log?
  22. Yes, point noted, maybe it's time for that now. What's everyone else think? Ill post this in a topic called Forum Future?

  24. You should be able to run multiple installs of GameEx on the same PC, but not at the same. If one of your installs is not working, its likely just your configuration.
