    jukebox

No your not stupid at all, it's kind of a design flaw with GameEx, its not possible to stop the jukebox once playing when using arcade controls. I do plan to rectify this though soon.. You can of course still play games and do everything when the Jukebox is playing. Sorry.
  2. I can't please everyone all the time, and to be honest i feel I do more than enough. Getting shirty or making demands for stuff will only tick me off. Your message was not harsh though, but to be honest if your not happy with the deal you got by paying your $$ drop me a personal email.
  3. Recent versions of GameEx are skinabble and it has a theme editor now thanks to Headkaze. Although it's functional its still a work in progress though. Maybe you need to upgrade?
  4. 6th March 2006 - GameEx 5.78 Enhancements: Support for .OGM video files. Support for .KAR Karaoke files. New option in attract mode/screensaver to only launch your stored favourites. Registered users get the new DVD's (AKA DVD's on Disk module), which allows playing and access of any DVD's on your hard disk or Network, with automatic DVD artwork download and the ability to use FFDSHOW. (A little similar I suppose to My Movies in MCE) (DVD Codec required) [*]Fixes: Karaoke Playlist and Playlist Shuffle Configuration now showing all help text again. DirectDraw bounds checking for audio level display. Enhanced Karaoke module, based on the fact Karaoke files generally have no tag information. Album artwork, and video snaps showing at wrong aspect.
  5. After pressing Print Screen you then need to "Paste" it into an image program such as "Paint". Could you post your entire log please. Thanks.
  6. There's a setting called enable media controls. Have you got it turned off?

    Text Colour

sorry, it's not possible at the moment.
  8. I really can't get it to go wrong my end. Does it do it everytime, or after playing a song, or what? You can take a screenshot by pre4ssing the Print Screen ket, then pasting in Paint or another image program. Anyone else having similar issues, or can it anyone confirm its working fine?
  9. It does not currently scan for .IFO files, but Ill make it do that in the next release. Is there a problem with the DVD, you say theres not but just checking you did not make a keyboard error?

    Audio Crash

Can you post your entire log please.
  11. Make sure your using the DirectX renderer and not the OpenGL one.
  12. Hi, Could you be a bit more specific and give detail on what exactly is happening please?
  13. Thanks Emph. Gary, you should have the email now (I've been out tonight and just got back).
  14. I can't duplicate this behaviour. Could you post a screenshot? Are you using 5.77?
  15. You can use AdvanceMAME if you really want to spend loads of time, but there's no point unless your running Windows 98. The best option option is to setup TV friendly resolutions and timings in powerstrip close to most game resolutions, and setup MAME to use these resolutions, GameEx even has direct support for this if you hack up the ArcadeVGA support a little to work with different resolutions rather than AVGA ones. Otherwise just run all MAME games at a fixed resolution, and also possibly use the MAME Direct3D settings so there's no blurring when stretching happens.
  16. Make sure the card is not running too fast. ie overclocked. Also check the drivers. Alos post your log so I can see what you have there.

  18. Yes partly and Headkaze, and theres demand for it. Apart from that call me a loser if you like, but I actually like Karaoke, although am a little gravly I think Americans do it best at least in my experience, where I am its just a piss take, and for singing when pissed. It is considered a bit sad I know, but i thinks its fun if you dont take yourself seriously that is.
  19. Also dont forget the config app now supports input and export for emulators, really should be little need for manual ini editing. Also any truncation issues are fixed now, and the config app also runs must faster. In addition the emulator settings are now laid out individually for each emulator in the config app, no more 1-5 etc.
  20. Just to let you know the issue when you had a setting in quotes in the config such as "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" and the config application would remove the quotes is fixed in the latest release. It now saves the quotes.

    Audio Problem

Glad your pleased with the service
  22. Thanks, I'm aware of it. Cheers.
  23. By the way, if you want some free webspace with ftp and scripting etc for your stuff, which I can link to anywhere you like let me know. It would be a pleasure. EDIT: Drop me an email if you want the webspace, I am sure it will be superior to anything you already have, and I can get you your own domain also if you wanted to spend about £8.00 a year.
  24. Good job Headkaze, as I've said before your a talented bloke. I dont have a webcam so can't check it out, but I am sure its good.
  25. It should cache the tags, so it must be a bug or something else slowing it down, ill check it out. In my experience of Karaoke at a venue the Karaoke guy queues up songs then has a beer or chats with the punters. Although I am going to add a one click option also, so that should sort that out. Its a bit diffificult to queue a song while ones playing at least for an app designed for a remote or game controls like gameex. I appreciate the feedback.
