  1. Yes, theres an option for that.
  2. Ill get that fixed for the next release.
  3. Sorry, if Im repeating myself, but do you have the quotes in the correct places as shown above. If you put quotes around the whole command what you said above would definitly happen, but the quotes should be around [rompath]\[romfile] Either way, its never going to work without the quotes. It might be more than one problem here, but you do need those quotes.
  4. Did you try: zsnes.exe "[rompath]\[romfile]" Instead of: zsnes.exe [rompath]\[romfile] ?
  5. Like I said, this *should* be zsnes.exe "[rompath]\[romfile]" Not: zsnes.exe [rompath]\[romfile] I think you misunderstood what I meant by rom filter. This is in the config as "Rom Filter" this is normally something like *.*, *.7z, or blank.
  6. Please cut and paste here exactly what you have for your command line now. Your using windows version and latest version of ZSNES? Also, what do you have as the rom filter?
  7. Shold be: zsnes.exe "[rompath]\[romfile]" Working path should be set to where zsnes.exe is located.
  8. Happy to host
  9. This is probably my fault, GameEx still does not support the elusive "Roms in folders". Then again when I started this project, I only ever wanted it to support MAME .

    GameEx Bug

Not sure, I entirely follow the post, but HK is right GameEx does cache. You can make it recache by delete deleting emu_X.map in the data folder. Theres also a db cache.
  11. Nah, its just 16 bits, and a bug in excel. Youd see it that way too if you coded. No offence.
  12. Tom Speirs

    Bug?

Yes, delete it, then just install gameex again to put back the empty database.
  13. Hey, I cant help with your specifc question as GameEx cant do individual snaps, but I just wanted to say GameEx *should* in fact skip taking the snaps for games that you already have a snap for.

    Bug?

I know about the delete game data, thats a legacy issue as we went to a proper database driven system a little while back as opposed to my initial text file based bodge!. In terms of your first post, its sounds like a bug, but are your referrring to MAME or another system?
  15. No problem, I won't change anything unless you now tell me otherwise. Thanks a lot for your help
  16. Hi, I've been chatting with NoLogic and it sounds like its time to get the "completed" dbases integrated into the install and replace the existing, if that's ok with everyone? Can someone provide an upload to that affect for me, and Ill get it going? Thanks for all the hard work, lets get them out there
  17. Im in the chat room right now, if anyone wants to come by. Ill try to stay in as long as I can, but I may flake out early as I have a cold.
  18. Should I and is it ok to - include this with the GameEx install? I dont have the hardware to check it out, but it sounds right on the mark. Oqqalz if you want a free gameex license/s or refund etc please do drop me a mail. Anyone who contributes like this should not have to pay for GameEx. Cheers. Tom.
  19. Nice Ill add it to the portal. Thanks!
  20. Thanks a lot guys. Let me know if you need anything from me. Such as if things should be moved to the portal from the forum.
  21. Well thanks a lot for stepping up, and to everyone else too. To be honest, I probably won't be able to catch up with everything now, but you all know you can email me or PM if there's something of significance it looks like I've missed. Its great though, that the forum has gone way beyond just GameEx related. Not bragging but it seems we get way more posts than the BYOAC software forum, and all the other front end forums. The only downside is its hard to keep up unless you check in daily. Of course I'm open to suggestions as always on how to improve things, but of course without breaking what we have going. What migt be helpful, is adding to the portal some kind of more advanced software solution for tracking feature requests and bugs. I *feel* like I am on top of everything, but I worry I may miss something. Thoughts welcome.
  22. Put it this way, you should split the $5 dollars.
  23. Nice to be missed It was a vacation, not as far flung as Hawaii though. Back now, and its great to see things run along quite well without me, in fact it seems you all get off your asses and do more Even Orc fired up his pentium II and US Robotics modem to post a message. Im honred
  24. Thanks a whole lot for the contribution I dunno I go away for a couple of weeks, and we have new cpwizard, mame compiler, new plugins. Do you guys really need me around here! More seems to happen when I take a back seat!
  25. LP, Yeah basically look at the example/s and post if you need help, or even have requests for that matter.
