The 802x602 thing is a gameex bug. Ill look at that and the pointer issue. Upping the font size should increase the button size. Did you try that?

GameEx should dispose the plugins even if it fails. What you have to do is use threads if you want code to run more often.

You could look at the AutoIT ActiveX Control.

Post it then. My betting is your usb hard drive is on the way out. Or your gameex install got corrupted. A lot of those options regarding the list, require another update to take affect.

Just because they work in MAME32 does not mean the games are 100% correct, and MAME will verify them as such when building the list in GameEx. If you want to show every single game whether "working" or "verified" or not then read what I said before.

This is probably because you have verify roms turned on, and MAME does cant verify the roms, or you have only existing turned on and your roms are merged. Or you have only working turned on and the games are not fully working. Ben Kenobi was pretty spot on in what he said. If you want to list all games then basically turn off verify roms, only existing, only working and turn off the rom filter. Otherwise GameEx will do its best to give a list of only "decent" games. Which to be honest, is what I want it to do. I think the list issue was some other kind of unrelated issue.

I would try deleting \data\gamelist.txt Or did you say you fixed that problem now? I really dont understand what "zigzag" means?

Theres a mistake in the config help description. Should be \gameex\themes\[theme]\logos Not sure if videos are supported or not, if not add a feature request and ill look at it. Cheers.

From Microfrost: Hi, I have just created a plugin for (LCDstudio). It uses the same values as with Toms LCDsmartie plugin. The major difference with LCDstudio is that it's made for graphical LCDs rather then charactor based ones that LCDsmartie uses. As it reads the same registry values as Toms plugin you will need the registered version. I've attached it to this post for download. Hi, favorites are stored in C:\program files\gameex\data\data.mdb Do you have knowledge of MS access? If so you can load up the database and do an export, otherwise theres no automated way to do it with GameEx.

Hi L00pus. Welcome to the forums. Your not being stupid at all, basically GameEx can't do what you are asking. We actively encourage feature requests (Theres 27 pages of open ones, but also 25 pages of completed ones) So go ahead and post this as a Feature request, in the approprate topic at the top. Thanks. Its not going to be any faster I dont think. Did not mean to give that impression. Its the same host, and still shared hosting. It just means we can go on as we are without having to cut back on anything.

Just because I like folks to know Im not sitting on my back side: (well actually I am physically, but you know what I mean). We were starting to reach our hard disk quota for the forum with the host I'm using, so I've just upgraded the hosting account to the next level up. This leaves us with an additional 500mb to use up, and also gives us a bigger bandwidth quota (not that we seem to need it yet). This will go through today. I dont think there will be any downtime, as I expect nothing will be moved on servers etc, but it could happen. Anyway, bottom line is GameEx aint going anywhere soon. Cheers. Tom.

Hi, the files to delete are the ones with the .dbcache extension in the GameEx data folder. Its supposed to detect changes in dbases but obviously its not working
