I spent several days working on this and did find a solution, and even tried hosting the files. It was not viable to include this with GameEx, and the files worked out to over 2 TB. Here is the virus total result for GameEx.exe in the latest version. It was released a day or so ago. All clean: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/504e39f26c0b7a8475e01b875e128c80cb852d1030ba05e6016dd1908dc7a706?nocache=1 it says no vendors flagged it so your system maybe infected. You did not give me much to go on. its more of a general pc support question.

it is a false positive unless your system is otherwise infected. What is the anti virus software? If it is good software you should be able to add an exception.

In my testing I could only launch a MAME game once. I did not hear anything but this was the fix for me. Update .net 8 to latest in installer. I have resumed work on the upcomging big improvements to emulator setup. This is both client and server side. In case you missed it there was a little update and bug fix to GameEx Evolution recently. In my opinion and by my standards an application like PinballX should be able to stay up and running for months. Even when running as 32 bit. After a month of soak testing on my cab I tied down a memory leak to bass.dll. I rolled back to an earlier version and hopefully this is now resolved. It is in my soak testing, Also included latest .net 8 runtime in installer. .net 10 LTS coming next year by the look of it. I would expect this to be Windows 11 only but I still plan to keep support back to XP for you remaining crazy diamonds, using the appropriate frameworks and libraries. View the full article

Sometimes it is better that way, then they can't take anything from you. Just getting the bus sucks donkey dick but hopefully you are not in that situation.
