There were several shows it seemed like everyone watched back during this time period. The Carol Burnett show was another in a long string I recall starting way back with the Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour, Donnie and Marie....etc., etc.. That said, the Carol Burnett show was a staple in our house and Tim Conway was a huge part of what made it so funny. RIP sir!

This is why I use FF, show me a IE or Chrome post that addresses something that fast, yeah right. We'll fix it when we're ready is more like it. Apple already started dropping extensions for items it considers unsafe, so I think you're going to see this become more of a thing moving forward. Many of these extensions represent crazy security risks, which is why I never understood such early adoption of some of them, specifically password managers.

I don't use any of those, but none of my extensions are disabled. I use privacy badger, which is similar to DDG PE.

Yeah, the thing that got my attention is that all those advantages spill over into the VCR world, which will make tweaking the picture for encoding much more accurate as far as "what you see is what you get" point of view. These are videos that can't be replaced, family events, weddings, etc., and conversation is time-consuming. In the end, it seemed worthwhile to pick up to help ensure decent results. I still plan to grab one when the funds are there.
