  1. I think Tom's point was that there is plenty of that on the "13 channels of shit on the TV to chose from". To borrow a phrase from Adultery, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  3. Great post here from one of my most favorite blogs!
  4. Another arcade “find and rescue” adventure! Nintendo Red Tent picked up during the above raid.
  5. As posted by WB_K Read all about it here Ends March 19.

  7. Late to the party, belated happy birthday!
  8. Are you asking about GameEx Evolution in particular or GameEx / GameEx Arcade Edition? catver.ini can be used, but I'll defer to @Tom Speirs for more detailed answers to your specific questions.
  9. No, you must add the registry key. Double click it and let it add the key to the registry.
  10. Nice to see you found a solution that didn't require throwing more CPU power to it. Thanks for sharing your work!
  11. Rygar is a video game created by Tecmo in 1986 and originally released for arcades in Japan as Warrior of Argus (アルゴスの戦士, Arugosu no Senshi).[2] It is a sidescrolling platform game where the player assumes the role as the "Legendary Warrior", battling through a hostile landscape. The main feature of gameplay is the use of a weapon called the "Diskarmor", a shield with a long chain attached to it.
  12. HSM Mega Bezel Reflection Shader Saw a post about this elsewhere and started digging to find the above discussion. Unfortunate that it's limited to RA, at least currently.

  13. Different from the home computer version, Michael Jackson's Moonwalker (マイケル・ジャクソンズ・ムーンウォーカー, Maikeru Jakusonzu Mūnwōkā) is an arcade video game by Sega (programming) and Triumph International (audiovisuals), with the help of Jackson which was released on the Sega System 18 hardware. This game suffered from Sega's suicide battery[2] on its arcade board (a battery that, accidentally or otherwise, renders the game unplayable at the end of its lifespan). The arcade has distinctively different gameplay from its computer and console counterparts, focusing more on beat 'em up gameplay elements rather than platform.
  14. I more than likely had something to do with planting that seed about the RCA spacing, but after getting mine I just can't see how that's a problem, well unless you're using ridiculously oversized RCA plugs! I've been keeping up with the RAD2x's models too, very cool of Mike Chi to keep churning out these products to a community eager to achieve the best results at an affordable price that's super easy to use. I got the latest revision of the Retrotink2x that satisfies my current needs, but will keep an eye out for future developments on the console front for one that supports 720P component for the XBOX. Thanks for pointing me to these amazing little devices
  15. I can't say I've attempted these myself yet, but recall this was a priority for B2K24, and so I figured it would be of value to get you headed in the right direction.
  16. Great looking cabinet! I'm really loving that control panel layout and can't say I recall seeing one that clean while remaining so multipurpose at the same time. Very nice Thanks for sharing!
  17. I'm going to borrow a screen shot B2K24 shared of one of his SL configs. It's dated, but should give you an idea of the configuration for these systems. I don't believe there is any reason you would have to alter your directories at all.
  18. Crystal Castles is an arcade game released by Atari, Inc. in 1983.[1] The player controls the character Bentley Bear who has to collect gems located throughout trimetric-projected rendered castles while avoiding enemies out to get him as well as the gems. Crystal Castles is one of the first arcade action games with an actual ending, instead of continuing indefinitely, looping, or ending in a kill screen,[2] and to contain advance warp zones.
  19. That is pretty damn cool and probably just a good pincab demonstration video from catching on with a much larger audience. For huge table collections it would have to be better than any wheel could ever be, well assuming you can remember all the tables you have
  20. Atari Kangaroo: The elephant in the arcade Kangaroo (Japanese: カンガルー) is an arcade platform game released in 1982 by Sun Electronics and distributed by Atari. Kangaroo is one of the first arcade games similar in style to Donkey Kong without being a direct knock-off. The player takes the role of a boxing glove-wearing mother kangaroo who is trying to rescue her child from fruit-throwing monkeys. Despite featuring jumping, there is no jump button. Instead, the player pushes up on the joystick—or up and diagonally—to jump.
  21. It's a key that is emailed to you at the email address you used when you purchased it. If you no longer have this email then you could PM @Tom Speirs and provide him with the email address you originally used. He is the only one that can help in these particular instances and will need to check his records.
