  1. These machines have an early release (exhaustively patched/botched) of Win 10, so I think a fresh install in in order. One of them is limping along after a couple RAID corruptions and multiple DISM image repairs and the others have all their content already loaded onto secondary drives. Regardless, please let us know what you end up recommending when that time comes.
  2. If you go 4X mode you get all those lanes bonded, similar to turbo mode on the 6700K in single core performance, the immediate trade off seems to be loosing SATA ports 5 and 6, which I don't use anyway. What worries me is enabling M.2 support in the next field drops SATA ports 1-4, which calls to question what impact that has on the 4X lanes in the former change if I leave the latter set to SATA Express. If it sticks the m.2 drive at SATA 6GB speeds, then why bother. I'm still researching. My 250GB EVO's 850's are plenty fast, but I'm looking to re-purpose those for content over the current spinners. It may all be overkill, but I'm in the process of upgrading hardware between machines, so now's the time.
  3. I didn't word that effectively. What I mean is including the technical aspects, as I haven't enough experience to fully grasp the consequences of the BIOS changes. m.2 support limits other aspects, especially in older main-boards. For instance, on my board it appears enabling m.2 support is a trade of for SATA 3 ports support in order to enable x4 lanes, while on others the impact is still there, just less substantial.
  4. FEATURE REQUESTS: Ability to run in windowed mode Add Gamelauncher mode
  5. I saw this in a post by Jake13942 and thought I would share it here. It's a fairly exhustive list and I haven't verified these. It appears to be an evolving thread that has been updated, so I'd say you're go for launch on these titles until the offer expires.
  6. Haven't done a lot or research on these, but i'm looking to move to one of these @ 500 GB to replace a EVO 860. Thoughts? My board is a Z170, so not the newest. Speed up with onboard M.2 up to 32Gbit/s With x4 PCI Express 3.0/2.0 bandwidth, M.2 supports up to 32Gbit/s data-transfer speeds. It is the perfect choice for an operating system or application drive, making your whole PC or professional apps work as fast as possible.
  7. Geesh! I could say something, but stuff like this defies logic!
  8. Wow, this is crazy, I never knew any of this stuff! There's only a few I consider to be a truly great "front man", and Bon was definitively "The Man", IMO anyway.
  9. You can see him honing his stage presence skills in this one, and who doesn't remember this one!
  10. True, the only retail store I want contacting me to tell me they're taking extra steps disinfecting everything is the grocery store, not housewares crap! While I'm on the grocery store topic, WTF people, stop coughing with a half-hearted "in the sleeve" or no attempt all. Doing this shit clears the aisles, get a damn clue!
  11. Hah, man I'm on a roll!
  12. Some good stories in here and hilarious bands! The Valentines with Bon Scott, priceless! Playing a Gibson SG no less
  13. They are in every third world country I've been to, so I get that. The risk of transmission within these though is too great and this event will bankrupt countries and millions upon millions of people. Doesn't compute, the risk isn't worth the reward.
  14. Thanks, this is exactly what I was trying to describe, just didn't do it as well Txplayer05, in my situation, GameEx Online only logs me in when I use the full email address I registered with for the username. Did you try that?
  15. The wet market has got to go. We're lucky it hasn't happened sooner and more often than it has.
  16. A product like Acronis to clone followed by a in place upgrade on the new drive once completed? By changing your password, do you mean it's actually altering what you input as your password, or is it just showing a longer character length with the place holders used to represent that a password has been entered? If so, that's normal in GameEx, and is likely similar in PinballX. Have you tried using the email address you registered with instead of your forum user name?
  17. Altered Beast[a] is a 1988 beat 'em up arcade game developed and manufactured by Sega. The game is set in Ancient Greece and follows a player character resurrected by Zeus to rescue his daughter Athena from the ruler of the underworld, Neff. Through the use of power-ups, the player character can assume the form of different magical beasts. After its initial arcade release, it was ported to several home video game consoles and home computers, including the Sega Genesis, for which it was a pack-in game. The game was developed by Makoto Uchida, who developed the game as his first project as a lead developer. Uchida and his team used the System 16 arcade system board for its graphical capabilities with sprites. Altered Beast was ported numerous times in addition to its Genesis conversion, including for the Master System by Sega and to several computer systems and video game consoles by various third parties.
  18. Keep up the great work @hansolo77 and try not to let the assholes out there bring you down! Surprisingly, it seems down in my neck of the woods that people are actually being more kind to one another. Amazing how such a reality check can show you how unimportant so many things we get tore up over really are. @stigzler, that's really scary dude! Hoping speedy recovery for you with an extremely extended purple patch
  19. muahahahaha
  20. You must be kidding, right?
  21. I have not experienced that, so thanks for posting back your solution. Based on your screenshot, your setup seems to be progressing nicely. Have you tried any of the alternate views? (List, Grid, Page, Carousel, Wheel and CoverFlow) I myself haven't, but I'm just curious as it seems most just leave to default. You can see some of them here if you haven't already.
  22. I would suggest you fire up the setup wizard and toggle the theme to one of the others, black and blue variants are in there in addition to the default. Exit the setup wizard and try Evolution with the new theme color then re-enter setup wizard and see if toggling back corrects the missing grid.
  23. Thanks for the tip guys, just got back from the gym. The selection beats the hell out of the grocery store these days!
