Took a bit for me to work up the nerve, but I did ride it on Saturday. Top Thrill 2 The World’s Tallest & Fastest Triple-Launch Strata Coaster Have a need for speed? Get revvved up and buckle in on Top Thrill 2, the world’s TALLEST and FASTEST triple-launch strata coaster. This record-breaking, next generation motorsport machine races a course unlike any other on the planet. Sleek, aerodynamic vehicles launch you not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES as you drive the sky in an epic competition to reach the finish line. Experience true weightlessness as you immerse yourself in three “free-fall” moments, including the coveted, fan-favorite “rollback” after you’re first launched forward. Then, launch backward and rise into the sky on a cloud-piercing vertical tower, giving you dramatic views of America’s Roller Coast®. A third launch rockets you forward at 120 mph, sending you on a race to the stratosphere before reaching the finish line.
  2. I bet I still the floppies!
  3. Radio Shack certainly had its place, but seemed to lose touch with the times and soon became irrelevant in the business model it pioneered. The stores where very convenient for things you couldn’t buy anywhere else.
  4. Amazing!
  5. Good to see you posting! I’m not into the Switch scene myself, but have seen news of several of this sites getting promptly removed for reasons similar to what Draco mentioned.

We're going back for four more days before the end of summer.
  8. The arcade generation is aging and therefore I don't think the model is sustainable long term with the exception of certain locations. There will always be some draw to them in the right places, amusement parks, etc......but revisiting the 80's highs are only around as long as we are IMO.
  9. Some of it seems odd, all sunny and clear skies on Jaba’s sail barge immediately turns into massively invasive sand storm. I suppose that explosion caused quite a stir in the sand.

Just spent a couple days at Cedar Point and can safely say they don’t call it the roller coaster capital of the world for nothing. IMG_3219.mov
  16. Whatever MS, pound sand! https://bazzite.gg/
  17. Tempting, but I think my Doom addiction was satisfied some time ago with 3. Makes me miss the id pioneer online gaming days with gl_quake and quake II.
  18. This comes up all the time, but there is some real compelling reasons to think it may actually happen with the teasers Valve is dropping. I'll believe it when I see it though. https://gamerant.com/half-life-3-recent-rumors-valve-play-test-voice-actor/
  19. If you're a Half-Life fan then you'll probably enjoy this documentary. I recall the anticipation for this game and the disappointment when it was delayed following the hack. Definitely one of my most favorite games of all time. Hopefully the third installment will finally release, but I'll believe it when I see it.
  20. I completely agree, it just adds atmosphere that gives it the finishing touch. Love it!
  21. Remember it well, blazing away on our beige 486 DX2 desktop.
