  1. If Dream Authentics wanted to make a cab for someone closer to home I'd be more them happy to drive the 2 hours to Indy to pick one up. :-) Seriously though, the cab is amazing. Super stoaked for Evolution as well!
  2. You should be good. It will point everything in the correct spots during setup. I have GameEx and my emulators on thrs primary drive (SSD) and everything else on a large storage drive.
  3. 15% Off storewide @ www.focusattack.com until Saturday July 18th 11:59pm (Eastern Savings Time). I've purchased buttons and joysticks from them before. I just bought an ipac2 shipped for $38 (not the Value Edition. The full board). If you need/want some arcade parts this might be a good time to buy. They're also giving away a PS4, Hori Fightstick, and a copy of Street Fighter V when it releases.

  4. The regular HD Homerun will pass through OTA and QAM (unscrambled cable) signals. It has 2 tuners. The HD Homerun Prime uses a cablecard and can only receive that type of signal. It has 3 tuners. It also has a USB port is you need to use the (whatever it's called) box in conjunction with a cablecard.
  5. Yes, sir. If it meets the W.A.F., and I can set it up properly, that's what I'll be switching to.
  6. For my primary computer I'm sticking with Win 7 for the same reason as Han. For the emulator box I'm going with Win 10. Almost everything works well on it so far. The only exception is the Fusion emulator. I'm hoping that will be fixed soon. Once Silicon Dust's HD Homerun DVR releases I may switch my primary PC to Win 10. No matter how much I tinker with Kodi I can't get it setup how I want for DVR use.
  7. If it can play Shadows of the Empire I'm in! I've had horrible luck getting that game to run.
  8. As long as the mount is rated to hold the weight of your tv (I'd go beefier on the mount myself. If the tv weighs 17# go with a mount rated for 40#) you should be good. Monoprice has great products. I don't have any pictures, but I did have a heavy older 46" LCD flush mounted using a mount from Monoprice. I paid 1/3 what I would have at Best Buy or another store like it.
  9. Happy really late birthday, Draco!
  10. Happy Birthday!
  11. Awesome. Thank you. I don't plan on doing much updating. I recently went from .147 to .159 Everything I want to play works. It's just a small SNES PC build I did that will most likely end up being given to my son. Once everything "works" I'm hot gluing the case shut and giving it to him. With only a 240GB SSD every bit of space saved counts. I know he's going to fill it up with Minecraft mods as well. Thanks again!
  12. So I've been looking online for a bit, and I've even found a post on here regarding the topic, but it was about 8 years old. Is there an easy way to delete MAME Roms from the hard drive without breaking everything? I currently have a split romset, and only the CHD files for the games I want. I've "deleted" the games in GameEx, but I would like to permanently remove them from my hard drive if possible to save space. Does anyone have a quick and fairly easy method to do this? I'm not opposed to switching to a merged set either if that helps things. Thank you in advance!
  13. That was bad. Really bad. I still laughed though.
  14. http://hothardware.com/news/best-buy-promo-slices-100-off-already-discounted-moto-360-if-you-purchase-40-android-smartphone Buy any Android phone and get a Moto 360 watch for $79. An Android phone and Android watch for about $120 isn't that bad of a deal. I almost pulled the trigger on this yesterday, but I have a Pebble watch and it's been great so far.
  15. I'm more of an ATI/AMD fanboy myself. That being said, it's hard to pass up a good deal.
  16. Flash deal perhaps. It's back up to $126
  17. Happy birthday, Circo. Thanks for all of your hard work!
  18. Hot for Teacher. Ha. I can't tell you how many times I've replied "I don't feel tardy" when I'd stroll into class late and the teacher would tell me that I was tardy.
  19. I just received my Dolphin Bar today after reading this thread a few days ago. First off, it's amazing. Secondly, from the manual it looks as if you can configure a Classic Controller without much hassle for other emulators. You'll have to switch to Game Controller Mode (LED 3). The button mappings are listed in the manual for the Dolphin Bar. I'll check later this week to see how well it works.
  20. That's Marvin. The owner. The last time I was there he gave us free popcorn because we made him laugh. I can't say it enough. He's an amazing guy.
  21. Glad to be back. I've been out of the loop for a long time. I started a new project and have been lurking the forums for the last few weeks. Of the three I took there all of them liked it. It's hard not to though. They have a ton of oddities as well as pinball and arcade games. The best part is Marvin is almost always there and every bit as cool as his museum.
  22. I try to go to #5 Marvelous Marvin's Mechanical Museum at least once a year. It's a super fun place to go. I've taken a few dates there as well back in the day to see if they were cool or not.
  23. You know I have to recommend the Metroid Prime Trilogy. The Legend of Zelda games are all good (I liked the GC Twilight Princess better than the Wii one personally.) Rogue Squadron II was great, and PunchOut on the Wii are all safe bets.
  24. The way I see it, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, XBMC is a media centric program in which you can launch and play emulators through. GameEx is a emulator centric program in which you can play media through. They both have their learning curves, pros, and cons. Personally I use Windows Media Center and launch GameEx through WMC. I've also dabbled with XBMC, but I've found that the combination of WMC and GameEx, and a few other add-ins and tweaks, give me exactally the experience I want out of my HTPC. Oh, and you don't have to buy GameEx right out. Download it and give it a whirl. You do lose some functionality (still better than most, if not all, paid programs though), and you have to sit through a nag screen, but you'll have a really good idea of wether it's the right program for you or not.
  25. Draco, that had to be one of the nicest smoked shoulders I have ever seen. It's like food porn perfect.
