  1. @TerryRed your media is very awesome and looking very good using MAME in PBX. I appreciate your work and sharing this with us
  2. It's actually better to keep software lists split/zip for 100% compatibly because some machines where multiple disks/tapes get inserted at different times it fails when everything is merged For MAME ROMs and simple consoles/handhelds it doesn't matter too much.
  3. I have my complete MAME 0.175 ROMs in Merged T7Z format and games work launching from Evolution.
  4. /me waits for a Visual Pinball pack
  5. Change VerifyRoms= to False
  6. Set VerifyRoms to False. GameEX doesn't need to verify your collection as that's what rom managers are for. If you disable VerifyRoms you'll get better performance.
  7. Looks very much improved. I really like it
  8. I completely agree Thanks Everyone for their YEARS of hard work and dedication to make EVO a reality for all users.
  9. I don't mind at all helpman I did notice your issue myself on the very first page of the setup wizard after choosing Advanced. I wanted joystick input and I didn't want anything executing shutdown my PC. This happened two or three times and right when I was going to report it, it didn't happen anymore. Everything I change is saved now. I don't know if it has to do with executing the verify and the end of the wizard or if it's just dumb luck.
  10. My first impressions are this is a really impressive alpha and I see so much future potential in EVO that I'm quite excited in future progress. I'm really blown away at finally being able to use EVO after watching those teaser videos all those months ago. Out of the box the user will get Arcade only with no clones shown (about 2200+ games in their listing) which is what a lot of people want at the very least to start off with. http://imgur.com/8tUhMLU Advanced users can navigate to "GameEx Evolution\Data\MAME" and consult a file named [FILTER].xml http://imgur.com/aNDIFmy What has me really excited and intrigued is at location "GameEx Evolution\Data\MAME\Software" the contents of the Software exactly mirror the files of MAME's hash folder. I can't wait to see what EVO does with this and how it handles it. There is also support for HyperSpin MAME themes and wheels. I can see this the beginning of something that will end up being really really awesome
  11. OMG OMG OMG My plans for tonight have changed Going to hook MAME into this ASAP and test many things. Nice release team Thank You!
  12. I appreciate the quick fix and updated version. Thank you so much
  13. Seems like when GameEX changed versions a few days back the Game Tagger stopped working for me. I haven't changed anything as far as configs or settings goes, so I can't figure out why it happened. GameEX Online and everything else is working fine and I checked config of the plugin using Repository manager and don't see anything wrong. 6/27/2016 10:27:39 AM : GameTagger Plugin (Version: 1.1.3) 6/27/2016 10:27:39 AM : Diagnostics: Begin system enumeraion... 6/27/2016 10:27:39 AM : OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 6/27/2016 10:27:39 AM : Version: 10.0.10586 6/27/2016 10:27:39 AM : Build: 10586 6/27/2016 10:27:39 AM : Total RAM: 6136 MB 6/27/2016 10:27:39 AM : Available RAM: 1756 MB 6/27/2016 10:27:40 AM : CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 930 @ 2.80GHz 6/27/2016 10:27:40 AM : Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 6/27/2016 10:27:40 AM : Video Driver: 10.18.13.6839 6/27/2016 10:27:40 AM : Video RAM: 4095 MB 6/27/2016 10:27:40 AM : Sound Card: NVIDIA High Definition Audio 6/27/2016 10:27:40 AM : Sound Card: Corsair Gaming H2100 Headset 6/27/2016 10:27:40 AM : Sound Card: NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM) 6/27/2016 10:27:40 AM : Sound Card: High Definition Audio Device 6/27/2016 10:27:40 AM : .NET: .NET Framework 2.0 Installed 6/27/2016 10:27:40 AM : .NET: .NET Framework 4.0 Installed 6/27/2016 10:27:40 AM : Diagnostics: System enumeraion completed successfully! 6/27/2016 10:27:40 AM : Loading XML... 6/27/2016 10:27:40 AM : Getting user data... 6/27/2016 10:27:40 AM : 14.50 INITIALIZED OK!: GameEx 6/27/2016 10:27:40 AM : Checking for network connectivity... 6/27/2016 10:27:45 AM : ERROR: Connection to DracLabs could not be initialized! 14. The easiest way I believe would be to have your different MAME's working outside of GameEX. Then depending on which one you want to run just change the mame paths and executable name in the setup wizard before launching GameEX. I don't believe there's an efficient way of having multiple versions hooked up at once that take advantage of GameEX main mame functionality unfortunately.
  15. http://zelda30tribute.com/ Might not be up for long so Enjoy it while you can
  16. Have you tried reinstalling GameEX itself? Perhaps this issue will be corrected if doing an uninstall and then a reinstall.
  17. Can you try with the default theme and what kind of binary are you using? Can you try with MAME version 0.171 from mamedev.org ?

  19. My setup is showing correctly. Do you have the latest mameinfo.dat ? Also, please consult the setup wizard and make sure it's pointing to the correct files.
  20. People tend to vote for HS just on the fact of how the user themes actually look which technically really doesn't have anything to do with the front-end or front-end functionality Of course nothing comes close to everything GameEX is capable of
  21. TThurman is a really cool dude. Grats on the promotion man
  22. Not sure why you'd want to use 0.124a that's 8 years ago
  23. Man these table sounds are amazing I really appreciate the work going into these Thanks so much!
  24. Nice forum upgrade. Things are looking Awesome! :)

  25. I appreciate all the work and time you've put into these Tom. I'm sure for the majority of people these will be an appealing alternative to what else is out there. The majority of users have the opportunity to make good use of these with GameEX and that's awesome. The small percentage of people with G-Sync/FreeSync displays (right now) will ultimately want the videos not forced to 60 Hz because they can easily run at the games native resolution.
