  1. I'm a GIMP user so can't test this, but bravo it's just the thing GT needed! The possibilities in Adultery's (may i say freakin awesome) Game Tagger are literally endless! Unfortunately that's what makes it quite complex and a bit daunting to a newcomer. This will aid tremendously with the creation process and will help spawn many many wacky tags i'm sure!
  2. Did you make a default config file first of all? Run a command from your MAME directory: 32bit: mame -cc 64bit: mame64 -cc After which load mame and make any adjustments needed.
  3. I don't use the compiler TBH, but if i understand how it works, it will run the commands as if you were doing manually, so if you leave it unchecked, it will leave that file as is.
  4. If you already made the adjustment to the source file, then leave unchecked in the compiler
  5. No nothing will be affected, just keep everything outside of GameEx. If you didn't make the adjustments i mentioned in my last post, then yes it will be beneficial to compile again. If you enable d-input you will get the most out of your wheel. If you need any help with the compile itself i'm willing to help you out!

That's why i stick around He's fast ain't he! Not to mention the support staff of which i dare any other site to compare. PS: I only dare coz i know they'd lose hehehe
  7. Absolutely! To save you some searching, you need to alter this file prior to compiling: <your-mame-source>\src\osd\windows\input.c Open in Notepad and find this (it's right at the top): // For testing purposes: force DirectInput#define FORCE_DIRECTINPUT 0Change to: // For testing purposes: force DirectInput#define FORCE_DIRECTINPUT 1Then compile. If successful, not only will Xpadder work, but also ALL or ANY buttons that didn't before For example on a 360 pad the triggers will now work etc, which may well translate to your pedals
  8. The steering sounds like a deadzone problem, you should sort that in Windows first i think, though i wouldn't know how as i don't use one. If you use Xpadder it's actually quite easy to adjust deadzones and sensitivity and as you're using a 360 wheel i'm fairly confident Xpadder will pick it up as a regular controller.. As for the pedals, i couldn't say as i've yet to experience any kind of analogued controls in MAME. Is it even possible?
  9. Have a goodun! Don't do anything i would! wait, that leaves wearing a onesie and watching soap opera's
  10. As long as we end up with 5 less i'm good either way Stick em in a RNG if you like, it's all fine by me
  11. I was thinking, maybe we should go the "no-vote" route, people vote for the 5 they least wish to play?
  12. For convenience, suggested so far: Black Widow Rampage Satan's Hollow Satan of Saturn Wizard of Wor Ghosts-n-Goblins Nightmare in the Dark Monster Bash Demon's World / Horror Story Vs. Castlevania Splatter House Haunted Castle Sinistar King of the Monsters Wonderboy in Monster Land Monster Farm Jump Monsters World Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara Galaga '88 Chiller Any more?
  13. On sale on Steam, 24hrs left! Grab it: http://store.steampowered.com/app/21090/ Buy if you: Like playing games your way, without being told every second where to go and what to do. Enjoy heart-pounding firefights where every bullet counts. Like the idea of something sinister stalking you all the way through, and laughing as you crap youself. Think paranormal creepy shxx is awesome! Don't have a pacemaker. Don't buy if: You're a wuss. Like games to hold your hand like the Mommy's boy you are. You do have a pacemaker. One of the best horror's i've ever played. And it doesn't mess you about either! You jump straight in to the chaos and it doesn't let up till the end credits, and even then you may want to stick around Do your collection some justice and buy this while it's stupid cheap!
  14. I think it could be a good idea Todd, and a nice way to bring us all together. Do you happen to know which (apart from the two you posted) are popular amongst pinballers that are horror themed? I really wanna install PinballX one of these days, but i'm worried it'll take over my life
  15. You seem to have all the features in there stigz! It'll def come in handy and should help any newbies to design their own. It's much easier to modify someone elses fully featured tag, and omit what you don't require, than make one from scratch if you're new or not technically minded. Nice one 'ol chap!
  16. I like this, now if only we knew someone who could remix the song "We did the Mash, We did the Monster Mash, We did the Mash, The Classic Arcade Bash, We did the Mash, It was a GameEx Smash! We did the Mash... WAH-OOOOOOOOOOOO WAH WAH WAH-OOOOOOOOO..." Sorry for all you youngun's:
  17. Me too, like:
  18. Awesomness! And i just spent stupid hours compiling .154
  19. Thanks man that was gonna be my next question Whether windows reads them as controllers, and whether they can be configured with Xpadder! It's like you read my mind
  20. Me too man! I'm definitely coming back to this once i get everything setup after my .154 compiling fiasco *Updated OP, DB, RSS.
  21. Strange ain't it?! You would've thought they would want to highlight this wherever they could, specially seeing as, well, PC gamers are the major emulation/arcade enthusiasts. Granted all the good beat 'em ups get released on consoles (well all but SF), but still, if it works on a PC then there are much much more uses for it! Surely if they made it clear that they are PC compatible they'd get more sales?!
  22. Them MC sticks do look awesome, and i was aware of them but they never say they're PC compatible in descriptions or on boxes or in user reviews so i basically never considered one. Now you've cleared that up for us i may well opt for one!
  23. You're too modest man, that's fental! I've played a few twin-stickers in my time but i find this one just crazy!
