It's a shame you only have the one supplier in your area Han. I was in a similar situation for years as i come from a small town too. There also was only one supplier - NTL. They were the only providers in our area for around 5 years and they basically did the same - charged maximum rate for minimal, if not outright insulting service. They had no competition, they got away with it - we as consumers had no choice. Then BT landed in our area, NTL went bust (good riddance), got taken over by Virgin and now we have competitive pricing and service. It would do your whole community a justice to let other providers in, it'll benefit everyone in the end including cheaper TV/phone services. I know you know that but someone in your town/province should speak up and tell 'em why! If you need a potato, and only one guy sells potatoes, where you gonna get your potatoes?

I have a few Uplay titles so can help test things, provide files etc. I think dedicated Uplay/Origin sections would be a great addition to GameEx!

After reading through this thread and seeing all the ideas posted i think if the time came this is the route i'd choose. Some great ideas in here and i can't wait to see where you go with this Drac! Do you think you could practically include a decent sized desk into such a design?? My problem is space and i literally have only space for a (big-ish) PC desk. The width of a Tankstick would suffice, with maybe another extendable pull-out to house a graphics tab. tthurman, i may be picking your brains at some point PS: i still find it pleasing that you guys are such Who fans

Amen to that! Dolphin is one of them shining examples of how a group effort should play out. Do you guys remember how it came out of nowhere and was just BAM! Get a load of me! Just to put some more ideas into the mix - have you tried changing the fullscreen/window options? For example there are options for GameEx to switch resolution, not switch resolution, run in fullscreen with no switch, run in fullscreen with switch, run in fullscreen window etc etc. I agree with u-man, the resloutions you are forced to don't seem to be the norm anyway, AND you're trying to create a vert theme too. You could try making a quick copy of your theme and natively make it to your required resolution, just to see if it remedies anything, then you might get an idea if it really is your hardware playing up or something is happening during the rotation. Either way in my experience a lot themes glitch-out if not displayed at their created resolutions even if it's in the same aspect ratio. Then again only some do and others are fine

This will only cause you major problems down the line and i suspect is what is causing problems now. You should either update your romset to .154 or roll back your MAME version to .153 To get a better idea of what is going on, try running Viewpoint in GameEx full, when it fails exit GameEx then go to All Programs> GameEx> Utilities. Right-click "Run Last Game" choose Edit then add PAUSE on a new line at the end. Now run Run Last Game and the cmd window will stay open. I suspect you'll see a lot of missing file errors.

It certainly does! And with Adultery's Xpadder Plugin that comes with GameEx (All Programs> GameEx> Plugin Manager) it's very easy to launch different profiles per game. In fact i load all my emu's with at least a blank profile that has mouse and handy keyboard functions on Set 2 (Alt, Tab, F4, Enter, Esc etc). I can control everything with my pad if i want to and sometimes do

Yeah that would be the $365 converted Twice as much. I just can't spend that on a stick as much as i want to. Maybe one day i'll just get single player version, or just settle for a Japanese plastic one as they are dirt cheap. But i do dream of one day ripping through my shmup collection with a decent stick

Hi Mute64 and welcome to the forums! Nice mini rig - and nice Batman table! To answer your first question - well that would depend on what you are emulating and the games you intend to play but if you want to know if you can control GameEx completely without a KB & mouse - yes you can you won't be able to use the media bar (at the top) but you can set buttons on your pad/stick for the same functions. As for your second question, yes you can do that but it will probably take you some effort to initially set it all up, but once done it'll be seemless. Check out this guide by thurmansevolution to get an idea of how to achieve this. It's written with Demul as the example emulator but can be adapted for most other emulators. There may be an easier way with P64 but i just set it up once so my knowledge of it is limited, however there are some keen N64 guys here so they might know of a P64 specific method. Good luck!

I've read your threads, but i don't emulate Saturn as of yet so i have no input, but rest assured you're in good hands there! If they haven't responded it's because they are not able to - remember that our users come from all over the world so you have time-zones to think about, not to mention we all have real lives to contend with .
