Bottom line is, Xbox one controllers will not work before W8.1. In fact it is not guaranteed to work till W10. Xbox One controllers have never been guaranteed, if you want a sure thing, 360's are your best bet . They work with EVERYTHING

This is to do with alpha settings. I can't honestly remember where it is in he Setup Wizard but if you turn alpha = on then transparency works, if you leave alpha = off then ABSOLUTE BLACK (0,0,0) is transparent. But truthfully, to avoid trouble i would have Alpha=On -
I don't like to be pessimistic, but i owned most Nintendo systems from ori-gameboy, NES to GC, and i have to agree with Han here, - Sega is a good lesson on when to quit ^^... They can't compete in hardware, so bail-out and make the most out of software. We all love Mario, so spread it wide. I'd buy it! I'm sure i'm not isolated either!

I may seem a lil stupid here and i'll take it, but obviously you can't have sound enabled on two sources. Because you'll have two tracks playing over eachother. May i suggest looking into your hardware and see what is capable.

GameEX could, no doub't Evo probably can, and like Stigz said, even if not, this kind of project will have an impact worldwide - it's how MAME started, ProGetto Snaps, EmuMovies, - they all started with a seemingly small idea, and then exploded! So make them icons, own them, start something. -

Bottom line is, everything i said in my first post - there is no reason why GameEx can't do it, other than the fact that the icons you want don't exist. If there was a community like the MAME community, all making logos, for all systems then there is no reason GX can't incorporate them ^^ But there is not, so there isn't : But hey, if you wanna make a movement go for it - you already have our best endorsement aka Stigzler! Damn that guy can get things done -
As mentioned before, RedDog is right - you cannot currently remove the "Menu". You'll have to incorporate it into any theme you make. I regret that there is no better answer for you, but it is great to see you back here AcidBrain! You inspired a lot of us to make themes, and i personally look forward to see what you can do.

Glad you understood that RD! This is a guy that made the beginning themes too! AcidBrain, you can use the left tree to move/disable select line 1 and select line 2. You can disable "Description" in Edit> Options (amongst many other things). As of now, you can't remove the "Menu" element so you may as well use it in your theme

Honestly, you can't. The reason GameEx can show them in the first place is because of the effort of the MAME group, and all it's contributors, and all that they do. There is however no reason that GamEx can't do this, other than the fact that icons do not exist for general systems -
