First and foremost, this should be correct. Secondly there are many support files to MAME that GameEx (in fact most front-ends) rely on. Search for MAME.info, Catver.ini, History.dat etc. Most importantly though, these files must MATCH your version of MAME!!! For instance, if you have MAME 1.43, then you must have MAME.info 1.43, Catver.ini 1.43 etc. If you have MAME vers 1.54, then you must have MAME.info 1.54, Catver.ini 1.54, History.dat 1.54. GameEx can do wonderous things to your MAME collection, but you must do your part to make sure it has every chance

Yes Han, you can actually join up to 25 groups However i ditched it coz i'm clearly not the guy. I just don't have the pulling power that's needed to get this kind of group off the ground. However i'll gladly join and endorse anyone else who wants to give it a shot?

In honesty i only made the club literally when i said i did, after Han replied, so realistically the club is not going to show up for a few hours yet, and when it does it's not going to be at the top of any lists. Anyone interested? With the latest Xbox One update we can now create "clubs", which are basically the same as Steam Groups but a lil different. If anyone is interested i'll make one, dedicated to retro gaming, GameEx, Indie releases, ori-arcades and the like. Let me know if you think it is worthwhile

Firstly, i would make sure your Steam drive has Admin access on your OS. It seems obvious right? But i've been here before. With Windows (especially) you need to give your current OS explicit Admin access to your Steam HDD. Whether it is a partition, a separate drive, an external, Windows needs permission. GameEx can't access information that your own OS won't reveal
