That thing in my sig that shows what game I'm playing on my rig is a gamer tag. GameEx has one too that's a little different than that one, it's available on gameex.com and it's out there for everyone who is so inclined to use one. Looks pretty in your forum signature. :-)

Why are you having to edit the controls everytime you run it? Just out of curiosity. I'm sure it has something to do with how Mega handles Windowed Mode, which I'm a nutshell must be affecting the exe that GameEx is monitoring, and GameEx thinks it's exiting.

I don't know how you would achieve that as Steam doesn't pass that data. You're probably better off using the shortcut method and making separate emulator lists. :-) -
It really wasn't to much of a jump for me software wise, and it was totally worth it. My only regret is that I didn't use a 64-bit version of W7 instead, but my mobo in my rig can only handle 4 gb anyways. My video card has 4 gb of its own RAM, which has been more than adequate so far. :-)

I'm having an issue where I have to kill GXt to get any games to run. I reported it in the release thread, 8 have only been using attract and it gets stuck indefinitely at that point. In other words, it's not just you. :-)

Hey Tom. When GameEx goes into attract mode, I have to kill GameExtender from the task manager before it will run anything. After I kill it, everything goes as expected. Nothing in it, but here's my log file (you can see by the pause between starting attract and the cmd line actually being sent). Must be something wrong with the new update because it was working fine last revision. LOG FILES Thanks for having a look at this.

Ahh no big deal, my Wii doesn't connect to Nintendo anyway. Their wireless just drops connections like crazy. DS is another story though, but I just play most games on the 3DS anyway. Wonder if the DS mode will cease to connect too? I suppose it will, and that's a bummer. They still sell both these gaming systems, so it's another Nintendo FU I guess. :'(

You'll probably see other brackets (ie (). [], {}, etc) being dropped as well if that's what's going on.
