    PC Goes Pop!

Man that really sucks. I'm sort to hear that KRC... I spouse I've ben lucky not to suffer any kind of catastrophic failure... /me knocks on wood
  2. Now you have.
  3. Quick answer: Nope.
  4. It's less about being able to compete and more about not having time to sit and play for a few hours. Fortunately lately I've had a few large orders on Discogs, and part of selling off my vinyl means I have to rip it to FLAC. Since my cabinet and my turntables are in close proximity to each other, I have been doing a lot of gaming the past week or two... Which has greatly improved my ability to compete. Unfortunately though, I seem to only be playing hi-score games (not that this is a bad thing). Now it's your turn to step up to the plate and give me some competition so I don't run away with the leaderboard. LOL!
  5. Bump me up that list some please. What to play next...
  6. It's probably too late since you got it working, but here's the config I use that works for me: http://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/10123-gameex-and-taito-type-x/page-2#entry77289
  7. I'll try again and see if anything is different... If I can get on the leaderboard that is.
  8. You need to make two text files: emulatorselect_scroller.txt emu_scroller.txt I'm not sure offhand which one it is, so you might as well just make them both. Judging by your description, it's the first one. Enter the URL into the text document and save it to Your Theme->Media folder. Good to go. Thanks for supporting the RSS (as well as the plethora of Hi-Score add-ons), I think it's a cool feature for sure.
  9. I believe you need to make a text file and place it in the root GameEx folder and name it the same as the emulator. Hold on, I'll run downstairs and check.
  10. Thank man! I was just struggling with this myself. Nice find!
  11. I'm the first! Woohoo! Anyone know why your initials show up as gibberish? I played 7 or 8 times and 5th was the best I could do. There's just too many bullets to dodge...
  12. You could probably just hook the friends list in the users profile for that.
  13. Honestly, I think you have it right. I will have to try and see if I can get this to work... All you *should* have to do is make a logo that has the same file name as the favorites list name. I'll have to get back to you on this.
  14. I would have loved a rotating monitor. If I build another I will add one for sure.
  15. Nope youre right, but there will be a solution in Evo for both this and Steam, as well as GameEx Arcade.
  16. Wow, I don't know wether that was a zing or a compliment! LOL!
  17. Youre putting the cart before the horse bud! Lol! J/K.
  18. I can't believe more people aren't playing this one.. It's pretty cool actually!.
  19. Thanks for the props! I hope it serves you well.
  20. Well technically I added 5k my first run {which wasn't enough for the top spot}, then 7k. I coasted through the 2 last levels on one guy, and my thumb was getting sore. I honestly don't think I can do any better than that, but I'd be willing to try.
  21. If you compile that screen goes away. The game diagnostic screen will stay though. If you want the plugin to work in D3D, you have to compile and select that option as I mentioned. Otherwise theres just no easy way for me to get the snap, short of pulling the image off the device buffer, and thats too complicated for me to try to tackle atm. Once you compile your own MAME, you'll feel smarter, and you'll be a winner.
  22. Youre doing it wrong. Lol! If I had to guess, you ned to change your command-line from: C:/HiScore Updater/HiScoreUpdater.exe" -type 0 -mappath "C:/GameEx/Map Files/HiScore Competition.map To: C:/HiScore Updater/HiScoreUpdater.exe" -type 1 -fpath "C:/GameEx/Favorites/HiScore Competition.ini" Change the favorites path to match your current setup, or where you save the favorites file to. Compiling MAME will not make any changes (other than the options you compile with), all a custom compile does is add extra functionality, such as removing the nag screen, adding high score functionality, and adding Direct Input instead of Raw Input. If your artwork is being distorted, thats more likely because of using DirectDraw.instead of Direct3D.
  23. Here I figured you had a lisp. Lol!
  24. Please don't beat me again ExedExes, I really can't do much better. Lol! I do enjoy the friendly fire however.
