  1. The music was so terrible on that thing but I absolutely loved it!!!
  2. Dude, is that the game with the marble you roll up on a bar and try to avoid the 'suds'? Wow, I forgot all about that machine! I remember playing it in my local bowling alley as a kid.
  3. Well for me I'd like it to have some sort of a back on it. But for the moment I use wooden stools because they're the right height and I was able to paint them to match my cabinet with textured black spray paint. I hear ya though, if I were to invest in new stools I would do something like that with a little back on then and possibly a foot bar.
  4. Wow that pic was MUCH smaller /more readable on my phone! LOL!
  5. I don't know if you can see this on my phone camera but it caught my eye while watching Shipping Wars today... That looks to be an X-Arcade cabinet with GameEx on it! W00t! Sorry bout the orientation there...
  6. Friggin Google Maps not available at work. LAME!!!
  7. I already have one, but it won't be available until tomorrow. Send your checks NOW or go here: Order now!!! HashbrownSteamPowerPwn ^^(That's an "Unbreakable Kimmie Schmidt" joke btw for those not in the know)
  8. Nice work man! Keep up the contributions! Pretty cool effort for your first go!!
  9. I would have to agree with that also. It shouldn't be too terribly difficult to add in to the current framework. Would be nice to also allow for admins to enable and disable accounts...
  10. Well I got into it because I enjoy the pursuit and the puzzle. It's really the challenge that makes it rewarding for me. Using the finished project is really more of a cool side effect. It seems like you underwent a really big project first, and I started small and worked my way up the more comfortable I got. You're far more ambitious than I was. Either way, congrats and I'm always happy to help when I can.
  11. A you noted... It's unusual that the exe is just extracting the bat to a temp file and there is two different paths there (one to the exe and one to the bat in your temp directory) and in the bat its missing that 2nd path but just outputting a quote? The discrepancy is in the two lines at the top, and that isn't from my log, I assume it's yours. So something is happening where it wants a 2nd path and not getting it. Are you looking for the 2nd path that's missing or something?
  12. It could be but I'm not sure. Chances are that it's doing something differently with the batch file, its a split off the regular file launching process. I'll have to look into the code to know for sure. I didn't really make it to handle complex batch files, that was really more of a quick addition. I'll look into it though when I have a free minute to do so. I'm leaning more towards it being something on your end because of the extra quote there, but again it might be in code and no-one has had that issue and reported it. Either way I'll look into it, but if you really didn't want to wait on me just keep using the exe?
  13. Well it looks to me like the log says you need elevation to run that process, as in you don't have the proper privileges? Either way wrapping the arg in quotes is all you can really do. But the debug logging is pretty straight forward here.
  14. Well if it were me and I was making updates (which I have, particularly for translated games): 1. Copy the database you want to make changes to somewhere else 2. Give it a different name (I usually just add [CUSTOM] to the end 3. Make your adds and edits to the new database file (I use Access for this) 4. Save it 5. Point your emulator at your new database 6. Clear the cache files and reboot GameEx

    I don't need a pass for that! :-)
  16. You should be able to change the name of that in the Text/Language section unless I misunderstood the post up there...
  17. PS: It looks like its working to me anyways... 00:40:01.4 29/03/2015: Running: cmd.exe /c D: D:\Emulators\Zinc\zinc.exe 10 --roms-directory=D:\Emulators\MAME\roms --renderer=ogl_renderer.znc --controller=controller.znc --use-controller-cfg-file=controller.cfg You should still download the latest version though.
  18. No worries, I was just curious. Yeah I'm betting its the bug I just fixed for QuickLaunch. Please download the latest version 1.1.1 or re-download the GameEx exe from GameEx.com ... This was fixed with a silent update.
  19. TBH I loathe ZiNc and haven't used it in a loooong time... I wouldn't be surprised if that were true. However unless mame is in that working directory it shouldn't work that way. I also find it odd that your usual mame variables aren't being passed either. I thought maybe it was a bug that was fixed recently but since you opted to not post a log I can't be sure. Please try downloading and re-installing GameEx from the web site. Just out of curiosity, why use it? MAME is better than adequate nowadays.
  20. Damn! Get the bundle for $75!

Lol! Great movie!!! I love Cadbury Creme Eggs! The mini ones are the best! But I love Peeps too so my opinion is probably void.

I had one a few months ago and almost went into a diabetic coma.
  23. The best way is to highlight the games you don't want in the list and press the DEL key to add them to the filter list for the emulator.
