  1. Hmm, unusual for sure. I can see the cache file having a problem in building with the spaces in the ROM filter. The crazy part to me is that GameEx pulled an old cache file from thin air somehow. I had a similar issue many builds ago, but not sure when it was resolved. I was waffling between using GoodMerge SNES roms, and for some reason when I switched to a folder that only had US roms in it the list was empty. When I switched back to the 7z files, the list came back up. To fix it I ended up deleting the emulator completely from GameEx and redoing it. Never had an issue again. *shrugs*
  2. No, the ROM filter has to be without spaces: *.smc;*.zip etc. Are you talking about the db cache?
  3. I know right? It was/is really visually stunning!
  4. Hmm. Never noticed it before although I've helped troubleshoot it!
  5. Now I create eboots with multiple discs for PSP, so it *should* be possible. Not 100% though. .:Edit:. Actually I know it's possible. I have a Crash Bandicoot PSX ISO that contains all 3 games on one disc. I just don't know how the heck they did it.

    Noob Question

Wait a sec... you get a blue screen crash when you run games from MAMEui too did ya say? Gotta be either video card driver problems or something to do with resolution/refresh rates that won't work with your monitor. Was your blue screen IRQ_LESS_THAN_OR_NOT_EQUAL? .:edit:. Dang, Drac! Pretty fast fingers you got there!

    Noob Question

I thought AdvanceMAME was only for CRT monitors? No sense in using a mame build that uses such a low resolution when using MAMEUI is probably better for your setup. AdvanceMAME is for real arcade monitors.

    Noob Question

My immediate question upon viewing this is... Do you use an arcade monitor? Or a regular one?
  9. <3 Thanks Drac!
  10. Hey wait, I thought there were also Members Only jackets as the standard issue uniform? *LOLrus*
  11. Hey Tom! Looks like we brought another one over! The GameEx sedative is kicking in good now! Haha! J/K Draco. He's right though, we're lucky to have such a great user base here. There's seldom a day where a post goes unanswered. I also use xpadder if that's the option you choose to take. To be honest you could still get the support you need for your shifter and wheel, and also map that shifter as a combo. You can even launch a different controller setup for each game. We will do everything we can to ensure you get the glamor and glitz on your project should you decide GameEx is what you want. Welcome to the forums!
  12. If you can get past the huge pain in the ass that is mapping controls, ZiNc is a must have. Too many good games rely on that emu, and the MAMEdev team has done next to nothing to get them running better. Like they say over there, playing these games is just a nice side effect.

    Noob Question

Looks like it'ss time to post your GameEx log file and your GameEx.ini file!
  14. ohhh, time to get downloading! Thanks Draco! Can't wait to see what's in that virtual present!

    Noob Question

On your MAME sub list, Update List should be the last option, after 4 player games, all mame games, not yet played, etc.
  16. Unless like me you're already a bit daffy!
  17. Why not just use DamonsTools to mount your images instead?
  18. Good on ya Tom! Thanks!
  19. You need to drop [-virtualdrive-] from the command line if you're using dt. That's for Tom's native ISO loader, and it doesn't do bin/cue files. Also make sure you can get dt to mount an image via command line just to make sure it's working properly.
  20. We could all PM him a happy birthday though! I'll put out a mass message! It'll be fun!
  21. Well, I know SSF anyways needs an ISO loader. I don't use ePSXe so I can't really say there.
  22. Probably more likely a rom issue then. You can't specify these folders unless you set these emus up as regular emus instead of using integrated support.
  23. Aww... :*( Well still, thanks.
  24. Haha! Yeah! You forgot one though: you got eggs in your cap? Take your hat off at the dinner table! Happy birthday!
