I'm personally failing to see the problem with the top-down structure. Since it saves each entry before you exit I think it's actually better off being this way. One menu and I can update all my emus quickly and easily (as was recently tested when I separated my video and snap directories). I'm not saying you're wrong here, but I was afraid to adapt and now that I've gotten my feet wet, I'm not sure why I bothered using the old advanced config menu for so long. /my 2c

Yeah I got two Technic 1200's in the lab myself with a Gemini mixer and a Kaoss pad in between (I used to rock a lot of house music gigs back in the day)... Nothing beats that warm sound of a piece of fresh vinyl! I got a Core 2 Duo laying around and a nice 4:3 monitor that was donated to me also, which can only mean it's time to build my own jukebox to house all my 60's through 80's 45s rips (I have a sh*t load of records thanks to garage sales and Goodwills). When I get to the juke eventually, I'll be using DWJukebox also... It's a nice piece of software and it looks 'authentic' for people like me that prefer 'singles mode'. I hear ya on never really being done... Once you run out of money you'll turn to skinning, then you'll resort to tweaking... It's a vicious cycle my friend!

I think GameEx uses wmp to handle the media. Or not. I need an assist from a vlc user.

Is it supposed to be pv.exe instead? No prob. I'm always happy to assist.

The last played list is only 5 games. Here's my idea... Make a printout by system of the games you have for your friends to reference. Add as you go along.

That's kind of a bummer. Not able to process multi-mouse I assume? I use the trackball as a gun currently in MAME and it kind of sucks tbh. OP beware! You probably won't get the results you're looking for without a proper gun.

You can use the Download Service Utility if you already have an EmuMovies subscription. The database is cross-linked with their artwork. You also get the benefit of a find/match/rename feature so your artwork is appropriately named.

Currently the '0' menu for the in-game stuff shows the emubak.png ... Any chance we could get a theme specific screen for this? That way when I'm navigating the list it doesn't say 'Select A Game' on top since it's more of an in-game option. Maybe something like ingamebak.png? Pretty please????

The change view item is on the menu bar. Make the adjustment before you move it off the screen.

I believe Tom said V1 and V2 themes are considered 'legacy' now, so they won't be made compatible with new features. Just a heads up... Probably wanna do it again as a V3 or V4.

I use the global escape combo hook now, but there is an advanced config specifically for ZSNES. I think it's even called ZSNES V6 or something similar. And Freq is right, if you have to enable show desktop you're not running in full screen. PS: If you're not fully committed to ZSNES yet, give BSNES a shot. It's a wonderful emulator all around, and I was a stubborn ZSNES user for ages.

Aww man! I just noticed that when I press the down or up arrow in my games lists that GameEx doesn't completely freak out like it used to! Don't know what you did or how, but thanks a heap Tom! This and deleting my combined artwork directories completely made my day! zomg! GameEx also stopped killing itself when I run FRAPS on it! Triple play! Awesome!!!
