  1. Finally figure it out. the Vectors.ini file needs to be edited with the mouse/spinner information.
  2. Hi, I'm trying to get my Ultimarc SpinTrak spinner setup with Mame and Gameex. It is USB, and it is showing up and working as an X-Axis mouse, but none of the games (Tempest for instance) recognize it. I also have a USB trackball and it works fine in the games, missle command, golden T etc. I'm sure I'm missing some config thing, but after spending quite a while last night I can't seem to find it. Any help would be appreciated. -Fred
  3. I need some help/opinions. I'm putting together my first CP, and since I didn't want to mess with the woodworking I bought the CP from North Coast Custom's. Got it over the weekend, and it is nicely built. It is the two player panel, and it had cutouts, for three joysticks. I believe there intention was two eight way joysticks, and a third four way in the middle. I put in one of the Ultimarc mag stick plus 4/8 way switchable sticks in the first player spot for testing, and I think I'll do the same for player two. My question/problem is, what do I do with the third joystick hole? Would it make sense to put in one of the Ultrastick 360 joysticks so I could have analog support? Would that work properly as a usb device, alont with two mechanical sticks? Is there another choice that would make more sense? Sorry if this isn't the correct place to post this question, I know it isn't a GameEx question, but I figured this is likely something a lot of you have had to consider. Thanks for any suggestions/feedback. -Fred
  4. Got it! I'm running Windows 7, and apparantly I did not install th correct codec (geez!). Uninstalled and went back and installed the correct one. Thanks again for your help (or I guess thanks for your help again). -Fred
  5. Yes, I installed the Shark007 codec. Videos play fine in Windoes Media Center (i.e. I double click on them, WMC comes up and they play). Here is my GamEx.ini file.
  6. http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?showtopic=10360&st=0&p=79066&hl=snap&fromsearch=1entry79066 Link to the thread.
  7. First thanks for the first round of help last night. I went ahead and registered, and paid for a sub to emumovies so I could start downloading snaps. But, now I can't get my videos to display... I'm downloading MP4 files, and my Video Snaps path is set correctly. I also downloaded and installed the codec that was linked in a similar thread. What am I missing? Thanks, Fred
  8. Got it figured out. Thanks for the help!
  9. I figured out 1. I found the rescan library option at the bottom of the GameEx main screen. The images I downloaded are all in one folder. assets\mame\titles That is the directory that config is pointing to for titles. Should the titles be a bunch of .png files? Thanks,
  10. Ok, Please be gentle, this is all quite new to me. I'm working on trying to get GameEX configured and I'm having some issues. First, I am only getting 104 roms to show up in the Mame list, but I have significantly more than that. I have checked and I believe I have all the filtering, etc. turned off. Second. I downloaded the Titles using the Download Service Utility. I put them in the directory that setup says it is looking at Assets\Mame\Titles, but nothing is showing up... Any thoughts? Thanks for any help. Fred
