    Update: nope, it still crashes sometimes, other times it doesn't. It seems to be having issues on emulators that don't use a database, but sometimes it doesn't. I don't know what to say.

    Well I removed the BAT file it errored on in the log and it booted right up. Why was it trying to do anything to a BAT file as if it were a database? It doesn't matter, I don't use BAT files now that I have an Xpadder plugin. Who cares as long as it's working. I hope it helps others, too.

    Shoot. Same problem as mentioned above. Damn, I was gonna actually play a game for a change. Fatal crash, the menu doesn't load.

    No worries friend. Emulation is a bear sometimes. On a side note, this is a front end, not an emulator. If MAME isn't running outside of GameEx it won't work in it either. The blood sweat and tears now will pay off ten fold once you get it going.

    /side note: Always good to see the vets drop in a bug on accident once in a while. Makes me feel better about letting the occasional bug get through in my own projects. @te: Tom fixes bugs fast. I wouldn't worry about getting stuck with a stagnant version for long. I suppose I better update and see if it works for me or not.

    Updated to Beta 3... Added a new "Bio" with a scrolling description. The visualizer now rotates between the 2 modes every 5 minutes and exits when you quit the game.

    You shouldn't have to install the font anymore, GameEx supports fonts in the theme folder these days. Looks great vsivalopes! Nice work!

    No you are correct. Node names can't start with a number. I'll have to add an extra char to the beginning in these cases. I'll have a new beta out soon. Thanks for the report.

    Hi! You install any codec packs to play your movies? Most of us here use Shark007's codec pack... A codec is the tool that decodes your mp4s so you can watch them. Do your videos play fine outside of GameEx? Your GameEx ini is located in C:/GameEx/CONFIG

    It'd be better to grab my log from gameex/plugins/xpadder/xpadder.log Shouldn't be any reason why numbers wouldn't work. The JIT error is saying that the node set has an error and can't be created (prob due to an illegal char). Is there punctuation on the titletext (ie : or / or <>)?

    Do you have catver.ini and is GameEx pointed at it?

    Can you post the gameex log? You should get in the habit of always posting your GameEx log BTW.

    This happens to Bigby too for some reason. Are you by chance using Windows 7 64-bit? I just can't figure out why this isn't happening to me (No programs are supposed to steal focus in W7 ever). PS: Try the new beta I uploaded. You may need to tweak your Xpadder settings some too... I can't fix this if I can't reproduce it.

    If you wanted my advice Drac, the selector bar color is a little intense. Maybe put a gloss over it to keep it from being distracting. /end my 2c
