So I may have missed this being asked already, but can you post your GameEx log after you try and run a MAME game?

Are you using GameExtender? HK may not have his app set to TopMost and GE may be popping up over top.

No offense meant Han, but when you have one officer for every 5k+ people it's hard to keep an eye on everything. Not that it makes it OK.

I'll 1-up ya Null. Not only have I not seen EITHER Tron movie, I haven't seen (or will likely even bother to see) ANY of the Matrix movies. Or Hackers. Or anything after (or before as it were) the 3rd Star Wars movie. And I only saw the first 3 because my brother took me for free back in the day. Lol!

Updated to 1.0.2: Added Screensaver Mode: Automatically starts when you enter "Attract Mode" The GameEx logo bounces across your 2nd monitor randomly to prevent burn-in (a concern if you leave your cab running all the time like me) [*]You can define your own images for Screensaver Mode by placing them in the Resources folder: SCREEN BG: Attract_BG_Img.png or Attract_BG_Img.jpg LOGO: Attract_Img.png or Attract_Img.jpg or Attract_Img.gif (Yes, animated GIFs are supported!) So I went ahead and added an "Attract Mode"... Well, sort of. Basically when Attract Mode launches, the plugin will cover up GameExtender (which remains stuck on the last menu item) and a GameEx logo will bounce around randomly on the 2nd monitor to prevent burn-in. You can customize the logo image as well as the background image (by default it's just plain black). So much for being done! LOL!

You point the emulator to the video snap path yourself in the emulator setup. Make sure your games and snaps are named the same and you have the proper codecs installed.

Yum! I also very much enjoy the grilled cheese.

If you enable GameExtender each emulator has an image path for it in Advanced Emulator Setup. I set mine to a static snap of that emu's controls.

Well the ROM has the sounds in it and the DMD info for one. Check your controls and make sure they work. Make sure you also match tables to visual pinball versions.

What are you trying to do exactly?

I noticed last night the RSS feed was causing my install to delay on startup for a long time (it was down for a while but came back this morning). The log finally showed the error and GameEx would start. So yes Krak, I'm sure it's related (especially if you get the RSS timeout error in your log). I wouldn't worry about it.

The last bit of it was really more finishing touches than anything else. Mostly cosmetic. I've taken her as far as she'll go. The jury is still out on jukebox info, but not soon ATM. I got it where I want it so wanna start on something else.

Gonna put out 1.0.1 soon. I made all the labels scroll if the text overlaps the label width. Fixed the command line switch not always working. The secondary label now switches to the in-game snap. You can now add a customized no image snap and your own background image. Added a "debug mode" for extra logging should a problem arise. Streamlined the code to make it more efficient. That should do it! Moving on to the next project now. I'd like to add in high score support but no idea how to do that on a console level, so maybe someday. Thanks for your support!

What I did was saved it to my HDD, uploaded it to my server, and linked the image in my sig (after some size adjustments were made). @KK: I think you downloaded the thumbnail instead of hitting the "SAVE" option after you view the attachment.
