One more milestone for me! It's nice and smooth now... That split second focus loss really peaved me. 1.1.3 (Plugin) More compatibility with GameEx in Windowed Mode - The focus is not lost from GameEx after dialog forms/jukebox displays. This also fixes the split second loss of focus in fullscreen mode. Never even would have thought about windowed mode! Good to test things! (Plugin) Tuned up my Last.FM routine a bit... Searches are now more accurate (Plugin) Fixed a bug where Last.FM routine got stuck if the network drops out.

Def +1 for Xpadder (obvously!)

Without looking, it sounds like your issue is actually more related to Marquee Magician... Like it's stealing focus and slow to load. I'll peek at the log but aside from focus loss (which as my recent experience with Xpadder taught me) the slightest trigger can cause GameEx to lose focus. Anyhow, this really doesn't sound like a GameEx issue to me.

On that screen above, are you getting any errors under the SECURITY section as well? More specifically, at or around the same time as this?

1.0.6 is out now, which finally fixes the loss of focus issue... Download it from the first post. I want to thank Rochabian for all his help on this.

Hmm. Okay, that's cool. Try this one. It's a hybrid of both solutions. This should get it back to working state and there's no experimental mumbo jumbo involved (I just would like it to work everytime). Thanks again for testing!

What version is this GameEx install? Can you please post your GameEx log?

That's due to the 3 second delay I added. I'll turn it down to 1 second and please try it again: Is that better? I mean the way I'm handling this problem there's always gonna be that "flash" between games, it's more a matter of finding the right timing to get around something beyond my control. :EDIT: This one might be a workaround for sleeping, let me know if it works.

So it's not working this way either... Or it works sometimes? Please get me a copy of your xpadder.log from GameEx>Plugins>Xpadder after you try the attached.

F**k I really wish I knew how to fix this. Maybe I can launch the window restore on a thread and sleep the thread instead (the problem may be occurring after the plugin launches the EXE, then it sleeps causing GameEx to wait, then the window minimizes). Let me try something.

OK, I added a 3 second pause. Try it now. The main reason I can't fix this is because I can't reproduce it, so bear with me please! I'll get it there.
