  1. So by reading this, is it safe to assume you're not adding ePSXecutor to the "also watch" list in the Advanced Emulator Config? Or did I chime in late with worthless information?
  2. If that's the case my downloader shouldn't be trying to find Dreamcast artwork everytime I load it right? Because it does.
  3. 1.1.1 RELEASED: (Plugin) Removed all form dependant timers and moved on to more efficient methods of keeping time (Plugin) Added a nice fade-in to the visualizer and the jukebox banners when they first display (Plugin) Added a refresh combo to the jukebox form: [sHIFT + RT MOUSE CLICK] This is really only useful to you if you use the Last.FM patch, otherwise the info comes from the registry and shouldn't ever need a manual refresh. It only takes about 1/4th of a second to update in regular mode and should never get stuck on a web query or anything. [*](Plugin) Added in the key combo to hide/show the jukebox form: [sHIFT + TAB] [*](Plugin) A little more behind-the-scenes work to increase plugin stability over long periods of time [*](Plugin) More coding on the new dialog form (nothing you can see yet, but it looks good so far! Still have a long way to go though!) Damn, I should just put this down and move on, but I just love it so much! LOL! I can't wait to drop this new dialog form... It really classes the place up! Anyhow, feel free to snag the new version from the usual place like always, and thanks for your continued support (especially you Null... Your "likes" make my life worthwhile!).
  4. I've had it for a really long time, so I'm not surprised it went up to $10, but even for $10 its a no brainer.
  5. I am gonna have to +1 Xpadder... Obviously I use it for everything, which is why I wrote that plugin. That'll at least take the headache out of adding it to your rig, and like Null mentioned I use joystick combos for everything from state saving/loading to rewinding and fast-forwarding. I absolutely love it... Best $5 I ever spent TBPH. It's a really wonderful piece of software, and you get lifetime updates for that $5. Completely worth it!
  6. That is absolutely the Attract Mode bezel. 100% sure on that. EnableBezelAttract=True in GameEx.ini Are you launching the game in Attract Mode? Because that shouldn't even come up on a MAME game unless you have you artwork folder for MAME pointed at GameEx's artwork folder (GameEx keeps it's own artwork with these bezels in it), maybe your Artwork dir in MAME got the files overwritten? Something is not adding up here. @Freq: Sorry my earlier comment was for the OP, not you. I knew exactly what you meant.
  7. A screenshot would be good... I have no idea what you're even talking about TBPH.
  8. I'll upgrade one of my machines but not all of them, and only to stay on top of the tech. I'd only want to use it exclusively if I had a touchscreen, it looks kinda ugly on a regular monitor IMHO (I have a copy from DreamSpark, just hesitant on installing it).

    Greetings!

    I'd fall right to pieces!
  10. 1.1.0 RELEASED: (Plugin) Added code for the new "dialog form" in theme images, which I'll be working on for the next release This will basically work like you would expect a dialog form to behave The form will show for add/remove favorites, updating your MAME list, and maybe other things [*](Plugin) Fully fixed the GameExtender handle getting "lost" and not restoring after attract mode exited [*](Plugin) Added ability to customize the Attract Mode message [*](Settings) Added a place to enter said Attract Mode message About the new dialog form: I'm thinking about adding some cool features to this, like maybe an optional weather forecast ticker and an RSS feed reader. These will be enabled and disabled via the Settings of course. I have been really busy with school and whatnot, and I'm working on another project for Null, so it'll be a bit before anything like that happens with this plugin. I really wanted to get this out more for the GameExtender fix and the custom Attract Mode message, so I can concentrate fully on the other "thing" I'm working on. If you're interested in any of that, obtain it from the usual place.
  11. Well the other problem you're gonna have is that they get renamed when you put them in folders. Here's an example of Final Fight 3 for SNES: You see the folder structure? All your games are gonna have the same name ... program.rom ... since the game name is the folder and the extension is also in the folder name. Then the solution is map files that need to be made for all the systems it supports to ix that. Then it slowly becomes more and more of a PITA, especially to get it humming just right. Then there's the fullscreen issue (although you can make it launch full screen by changing the setting in the XML which is located in USER > AppData > Roaming or some ass-hat-ish place like that. I only use this emulator for BS Zelda. Still love me some ZSNES.
  12. Ohh SDK to play with!!! Sweet!
  13. That's why I asked. Tom's IS has a note on the latest release that you can't shell the boot or the login screen or there will be issues. Not sure if that's still an issue or not... Anyhoo, I was only asking why people still shell. IS hasn't been updated in like forever so I thought maybe it was a fad.
  14. Taken from BSNES's homepage: Not sold on game folders? Then use purify's play game option instead. In this mode, you can choose a game file, and purify will make a game folder copy and begin playing it. Even better, purify supports incorrect extensions (like SMC), copier headers, compressed archives, and so on and so forth! Don't want to use the purify GUI to launch bsnes? Again, you're in luck! You can associate either bsnes or purify with your ROM images, so that when you double-click them, purify will convert them and open up bsnes for you automatically. Best of all, you can do this every time. Your saves will be copied over on the first game folder conversion, and kept intact on every subsequent run. So you can treat the game image as the game itself, and not even concern yourself with the existence of game folders. In much the same way that you don't concern yourself now with the existence of save RAM files or cheat code files. They just work behind the scenes. The only limitation at this time is that the bsnes GUI does not have a file browser. So you will have to close the emulator and load another game. I'm currently working through ideas on how to address this, so please be patient. In a nutshell, why are you using purify at all? you can just launch the game the same way you always did, regardless of extension.
  15. Everything looks OK so far... The only difference between your setup and any other is Instant Sheller (I don't use it and frankly don't see a need for it... We're literally talking about 30 seconds maybe, and even then only when launching). Don't get me wrong, I'm not dishing on ya, I just don't understand the need for that. That being said, it just has to be a focus issue, and I feel like Instant Sheller is to blame for the hijacking that's happening here (unless you us Xpadder or some other Windows app that launches right away). The only rel good way to check for the offending app/service is to watch the process tree and see what's happening, and with IS that's gonna be tricky. /end my 2c Just as a quickie... Did you change the boot screen or the logon screen too?

    Lol!

    Admit it... It's catchy! http://tinyurl.com/9hp5hft
  17. You could open the theme you're using in Theme Editor and drag the bar off the grid, but it's gonna have side effects (ie the bar will be gone on every screen, not just the emu one.)
  18. ...and this isn't normal procedure? Or do you mean the one you imported didn't work and you had to make one from scratch? Does the imported config need to be looked at?
  19. Been awhile but can you detect a monitor by name via bat file?
  20. Try using the "also launch" instead.
  21. Can you PM me the readme Null? I'll get started on trying to make this easier (ie removing the bat dependencies). I may have some questions too if you don't mind.
  22. Aww how adorable! We're gonna give kittens.com a run for their money! Ha! Seriously though, I hope the three of you are happy forever! (The third one is obviously your gaming rig! Lol!)
