[PLUGIN DEVELOPMENT] Visual Basic 2010 Project Template
Adultery replied to Adultery's topic in User Projects
The nice thing about the plugin system is that you can do pretty much anything. It's definitely reasonable, but that will be quite the undertaking! The plugin template comes with ini parsing code I think. If not I got a class you can import. There are people here who can help, so feel free to open a project thread. [emoji880] -
Indeed! I'd get rid of the wife before I'd get rid of the dog!! [emoji23]

That's a default path for sure.

What he said. [emoji317] -
Did you compile MAME yourself? If so can you try the vanilla exe?
-
Maybe also try changing the output path to the one GameEx is trying to write to and see if it works?
-
What does the listinfo.dat look like if you generate your own directly from MAME using that command line? I:\mame 179\mame64.exe -listxml > C:\ListInfo.dat Mine takes longer than 30 seconds to generate, that seems suspect to me but may not be.

LEADERBOARD Hi-Score Competition
Adultery replied to GimmeClassics's topic in GameEx Hi-Score Competition
In my neck of the woods huh? -
Fair point, but the OP asked specifically about "Also Launch", which while not supported in the GameEx GUI, is in the QuickLaunch plugin. [emoji41]
-
Why couldn't you just use the QuickLaunch plugin for this? You can do before, after or also launch for Steam (or any emulator for that matter)
-
It's a $49.99 value! Offer is only good for the ext 24 hours or so, so act now! https://www.humblebundle.com/store/shadow-warrior-special-edition

Y'all know it's gonna be a Droid machine with Atari games preloaded on it, right? Might as well just get a Shield.
-
It's in the %appdata% temp folder, unzipped7zip
-
Interestingly enough, it's also free on gog.com for the same amount of time! https://www.gog.com/game/jotun?utm_medium=email&utm_source=newsletter&utm_campaign=20170710_weekly_sale&utm_term=EN

Toy section. In my store they were at the end of the board game aisle near the playing cards and the monochrome handheld ones, like Yahtzee and poker and whatnot. Must not be popular here though, they had a bunch of them. I just happened to walk by and see them when I was looking for a toy for my daughter.

Picked it up at my local Wal*Mart for $7 on Clearance. They also had a Centipede I may go back for tomorrow. Thinking of trying to put a Pi Zero in it, but not sure how nice that'll turn out... The screen is pretty small, but there's definitely enough room in it. If I could pull it off it would look really nice on my desk at work! Thoughts?

9.29.17, The golden age of 16 bit gaming returns

Mine runs an Xbox One, my cable box and my Fire TV. My kids would have mentioned lag of there was any since they play a lot of FPS. I wouldn't notice it for the retro stuff I play. -

This is the switch I have. Maybe it works for you too. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BV1XBIY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_trrAzbX8KFZ4X -

Keeping it real with ya, I just found Gamesome for my Fire TV, and it looks like it's a much better alternative since it works like a front end for all sorts of Android emulators (including RetroArch cores), so my SNES games are just as playable, I get the benefits of s front end (box art, database info, etc) and I have the freedom to choose my ROMs. I just can't justify the expense for the case and the need to add another component to my entertainment center. /my 2c -
Nice! Does it come with a PCB or do I have to add another video card to my rig?

How much for and where did you get that mini screen? I have a web cam in the exact same spot and don't use it at all, that would be a nice upgrade if it's not too expensive.

Beats my 2006 Stratus that's on it's last leg. I'm thinking of getting a Focus this time around... And I put my own bells and whistles in.
-
Ahh so it looks like the command line changed once again. I'll update the plugin. Thanks!
