    Keeping up support for legacy software is a huge PITA, there's only so much you can do before you just make the decision to close the door. :-)

    I would definitely recommend anything in the Cisco family, they have tons of models that are made to fit within your network needs and budget and they make quality routers.

    I'll post a config for one of the emulators I use that feature for, but in the mean time if you could zip up your Medfaden config and post it I'd be happy to have a look at it.

    They don't have to be renamed. GameEx will pass the file name you select regardless of the naming. Just using the ROMPath and ROMFile flags are good enough. :-) Artwork is based on the archive name though so keep that in mind.

    Yea, I edited my post above. I use this feature quite a bit, so it won't work if you set the filter to the archive extension as it will look for the extension inside the archive.

    Also set your Rom filter to *.cue not *.zip unless you want to see everything in the archive, which you probably don't. :-) When you enable that setting GameEx looks for an archive on its own, if you set it to zip it will look for zip files inside of the zip file.

    I would assume that you could 7-zip each image together with the tracks and use GameEx's ROMs In 7zip option for this.

      Just playing around with the idea of making skinnable Gamer Tags. ;)

      So far so good, the tag itself is indeed fully skinable right down to the font, and I'm currently working on the landing page.

      That's awesome dude! I've secretly wanted something like this since i first got my tag! You could certainly draw peoples attention (specially on other sites) with a snazzy custom design. Good job man :D

    How can I make all the browsers stop cacheing images like Tom does for his gamercard? Well I suppose as long as the PHP page is refreshing I shouldn't whine too hard. :)

      Ahh genius! I can just create the image on the fly. Good call!

      I'll play with that for a while and see how that works out. Thanks for the tip, although I'm kind of ashamed I didn't think about it already. :)

    It's more a matter of the size of the snap box in the editor and where the list box is located. You would have to physically change those things to see a difference, as these locations and sizes are determined by the theme.ini itself.

    What exactly needs to happen? A registry key needs to be changed before the exe launches? If it's not crazy impossible I might be able to whip something up.

    As 4:3 becomes less and less used, designers tend to lean to 16:9. There are, however, some nice looking 4:3 Themes out there though. :-)

    You're lucky these guys are patient. I would have told you to get bent if you'd have come at me sideways like you did to Drac back there, or the others trying to help you for that matter. Consider that your verbal warning, I'm not as unwilling to drop the hammer as these guys are. We're here because we live what we do, not for money. And it's really not your place to question the authority figures around here, he's an admin, and that's all you need to know. Keep it in mind before you run one next time. /end slap on wrist mode

    Well I'd use the hdd on my NAS if it was me, so free storage is worth it. :-)

    Pop it open and see if the screen connection is intact. Sometimes if you drop it, that connection can come loose. But basically Toshibas are built on spit and bubble gum, and it's not worth the extra effort if it's gonna cost anything.

    I knew I was awesome, but two of me would be unbearable! I am, believe it or not, just one man. Thank you all for the kind words, I wish I could take each one of you out for a Heineken, or several!

    The easy solution is to just use Xpadder for your sticks, I run two 360 pads with ssf and it works just fine. As for the downloader, I.think I have most of the snaps and that's where I get my artwork, but I'd have to look closer to know for sure as I use video snaps, and that's what plays instead of the static ones. Part of the mystery could be just that they don't have snaps on the ftp, but you would have to log in and look to know exactly what's on there.
