  1. Another beta in the works... Besides fixing some font issues that crept in when I added custom font options, I added a plugin coop for the new DracLabs Game Tagger plugin. When you launch a game, after 30 seconds or so Game Info will download a copy of your gamer tag and display it for 60 seconds on whatever screen you have set for that emulator. Here's a preview: I also stumbled across a great free weather API in my travels on the interwebz (most of them charge money for this, and this one is free for anyone to use (as many times as you want). I'm adding a weather window to the GameEx menu, which will use customizable weather icons and show the current temperature. I might also add a weather radar map to the viewer, I'm still tinkering around with it. The idea is to suppliment GameEx's current "at a glance" temperature that it already displays with something cool, instead of trying to do the same thing twice... This may be an extended forecast with a map, or who knows what else. As always, the Game Tagger support is optional, and can be enabled and disabled from the Plugin Co-Op settings in the configuration. The weather setup will also be added into the configuration once that goes live. I'll upload the new beta in a while, we'll see how successful the weather viewer works out to be first. @stigzler: I'm working on requests 1 and 3. I'm not quite ready to set up user assigned keys yet, that will be a big project as the key detection could already use some work. The other two (specifically the timer, then followed by custom transparency options for all windows) will probably also make the beta when it comes out. Thanks for your support, I hope you like the plugin!
  2. No worries, I have a ton on my plate right now as is, so that probably wouldn't get done until after things settle down anyways. Let me know if you need anything though, I could port that over pretty quick if you're willing to host the uploads.
  3. Check your global exit configuration in GameEx. :-)
  4. Yeah that's the reg key for your gamertag, not for GameEx I don't think. :-)
  5. I could probably make a plugin for that too while I work on the GameEx one that's almost finished, won't have all the awesome backend gamesdb connections the official one has however.
  6. Yeah there was a bug before, that's why it used to work (your needs are outside of the intended purpose, and unfortunately I address that issue in an update). I'll add it in, but I'm busy tonight putting together an electro house mix for a party next week. If I break though I'll pop that feature in and shoot you a beta. :-)
  7. Thanks. Eventually I will add logging, just haven't gotten around to it yet.
  8. Okay so you want me to add an option where xpadder does nothing instead of closing? I really have no idea what your expectations are here, or its not making sense to me. Maybe if you upload a copy of your plugin settings I can make sense of it.

    Whassis?

I would think that would be enough, Tom has always gone to great lengths to ensure GameEx runs on older hardware. But I'm merely speculating. :-)
  10. Not as of now, because it doesn't log anything. If you wanted to know what the variables farm out to, you could run GameEx with Function Logger enabled and all the options checked, that will show you what info is in each variable. There is also a list of supported variables and their dat in the first post. :-)
  11. Sure, just check the use blank profiles option on the config screen, or set the interface to a blank profile. :-)
  12. Give this one a try.
  13. What I mean is it looks like it's programatically adding a space to the argument, I'll look at it right now. I might have made a mistake in there somewhere. :-)
  14. I think the game needs to be run a certain number of times before it appears on that list, but Tom would need to confirm.
  15. If you don't get that rolling I have Acrobat Pro and I might be able to.
  16. Seems like you have a blank space before the argument. ;-) I'll add a trim to avoid similar problems in the future.
  17. I don't see an issue with that, it is after all a friendly competition and if people want to cheat that's on them and it's lame. I'm sure you guys will handle it fine, you do a great job. :-)
  18. Happy New Year everyone! Here's to an exciting year in front end development! :-)
  19. My zip? Best thing you can do is go to the emulator setup, and select the export option on top. Then post the contents of that file on this forum. Then we can look at it and see whats going on here.
  20. Yeah, if you're updating that, your MAME games should populate also now. Thanks Tom for doing that update for me. I didn't mention it, so you didn't forget. :-)
  21. Are you missing the dll that needs to be in the application directory with the exe? I think it's called Iconic.dll and it should be in the zip.
  22. You're probably looking at a reinstall bud.
  23. Thanks you guys! :-) Being an xmas baby sucked growing up, but you peeps make it that much more tolerable. Here's to ya! :-)
  24. Not yet, but I can probably add that in. :-)
  25. Right click EXE and select "Run As Administrator". :-)
