  1. Are you using an ipac or something?
  2. Check and see what keys you have mapped to global exit under input settings in the configuration wizard, that may be a problem if you have those keys mapped as a close combo. :-)
  3. That is indeed unusual... I'll try and add this INI when I get home and see if I can reproduce the same results, it might very well be a GameEx bug.
  4. Next we have Game Info 1.2.6b2! Beta 1 addressed the bug with the CPanel Viewer and the Jukebox disabling, as well as a couple othe minor bugs that crept in on the last update. As I mentioned earlier, I'm putting in some work to the themeing of Game Info, since the file size was getting too darn big to include the themes with the GameEx install. This beta includes the first addition to the new system. Clicking Theme Creator under the Themes option in the toolstrip brings up the new built-in theme creator: Simply select the viewer or the option you wish from the folder tab menu, and either browse to the appropriate file or pick the font color. You can import an existing theme and make changes, or base a new theme off of it (just change the file name to keep from overwriting the original). All your assets are copied to the appropriate folder automatically no matter where they are on your system, and the theme xml is created programatically. Gone are the days where you have to worry about HTML color codes or even XML structure, just point and click your way to your very own custom Game Info themes. When you're done, just choose your theme and apply it in the Theme Picker. Next step is to add a Theme Downloader option so you can browse all the themes available on the Game Info site without having to ever leave your plugin. Pretty cool deal eh? Enjoy!
  5. Just to be clear, that game list appears under your mame list correct?
  6. Can you copy and paste the text from the ini file?
  7. In the future if you edit your first post you should be able to edit the title from there. Try it out! :-)
  8. There's nothing in the code that would cause that. Can you zip up your settings.xml and post it so I can have a look at it?
  9. You saying it worked fine before?
  10. Man, my luck lately... I'll look at it here in a bit. :-)
  11. Not yet, sorry. I think someone was working on software using this, but I don't remember who as it's been awhile since anything has developed on that front. PinDMD2 integration in PinballX is something completely different, as this is just an open source lib for creating DMD displays, and is independant of PinballX. You're better off looking in the PinballX forum for PinballX related news, or to make a request for PinballX.
  12. Been at it since 2k6 and so far I wouldn't know. :-)
  13. When I passed control of the CPanel off to the visualizer, I had a form close event in the CPanel Viewer tucked in there that I forgot to take out... it had nothing to do with key bindings after all which is why I didn't find it right away. Completely my fault, I use the "always show" option so I didn't catch it in testing. Thanks for your help, let me know if you hit any more snags.
  14. My bad, I didn't link it. http://draclabs.hfc-essentials.com/beta/Game_Info-Beta.zip
  15. I found the bug. If you got a second can you please test this beta? I also fixed the jukebox not hiding flocke. Sorry about that, I forgot to hook it in when I moved the settings to the toolbar.
  16. Does this issue look similar to yours? http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?/topic/14084-HideOS-in-13.21-causing-demul-to-crash!-[Maybe]
  17. If it is just you, I'll still try and figure out why. I'll have something for you to try later today. :-)

    Adultery!

I can't take the credit for the competition, I merely give them the tools to make it work. GimmeClassics abd HanSolo are the real heroes over there. :-)
  19. So I came up with an idea. I was using vkey combos to control keypresses instead of calling the form keypress event. I'm working on revising that function, and I think it'll solve this issue. I should have a new build for you to try in a bit. Stay tuned!
  20. I think that's the Windows way of switching tge foreground window, it's certainly not ideal if it is. Just a heads up. Tom may need to look into this. :-)
  21. I'm pretty sure you won't have to worry too much celly, we're working hard to keep it simple to "switch", and moving from the "vanilla" version will likely be a big part of that.
  22. Happy birthday Stigzler! Maybe I can get Game Info working for you as my gift to you.

    Adultery!

Thanks! I try to keep it fresh, glad you enjoy. I am determined to keep everything working with Evolution, don't worry. It's gonna be sweet! /side note: we just got fine with an integration project that utilizes GameEx's existing framework, head over to the hi-score forum and check it out. :-)
  24. Can you post your data.db3? I'll have a look at it.
  25. If it is significant then it's a bug and probably should be addressed. :-)
