  1. I am thinking about adding a LSI MegaRAID 9260‑8i with ADCAUDX 2Pack Mini SAS to SATA Cable: 1M SFF-8087 to SATA Forward Breakout Cable SFF-8087 Mini-SAS Controller to Hard Drive (3.3FT) in addition to two more 4TB WD Enterprise drives running hardware RAID 5. This will give me 12TB of storage available, not counting the other drives for OS, scratch, etc. As previously noted, I currently have MS Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC installed, but, being my first real server build, not sure what would be best and easiest to build & manage.
  2. @Tom SpeirsWould adding LAV Filter codecs in addition to Media Foundation he already has installed be of benefit? Any forseen conflict?
  3. I added another 307 to the FTP under /-GameEx-/- Emulator Artwork & Videos -/Microsoft Windows/Logo.
  4. My understanding is All MAME Games shows Zaxxon in the list, All Games it does not show. Is it possible that it is ignoring the Do Not Filter ROMS option?
  5. Has this always been this way or just now happening with v17.98? I see that you have zaxxon listed in Do Not Filter - is this the only zaxxon ROM? 6. The new and improved "Spook!" (Original link here for comparison of hardware) I added some diffused red LED strips to the interior. While solid on the sides, there will be some ambient glow emanating via the mesh front & top as well as back. This is one of my most recent builds, using a mix of older kit & new. It games really well! I am a USAF "brat" and my dad worked on the F4-E Phantom IIs most of his career, so the build is a tribute to him and my favorite fighter jet (and largest distributor of MiG parts). 7. The only thing I don't like about this particulare YouTuber is that he doesn't provide source links (or a reason why if there is a copyright or other issue) so looking for them myself is daunting. As for ads, they are like AI in that you can't get away from them.
  8. I have been looking for a standalone app that would allow for generating DMD-like output to .mp4 and .apng format. Would it be possible to convert part of the code for this plugin into such a beast? And, if so, can you also add a blinking red death button?
  9. If not Android TV, how about Google TV? Same, but different!
  10. I do not believe it is emulated. I believe that Android TV x86 has been compiled into a Linux Distro.
  11. As for the GPU, I could not update it from the Nvidia site due to the age, so SDI - Snappy Driver Installer - to the rescue! Nvidia Control Panel is available via the Microsoft Store.
  12. The feet were 3D printed replacements as the original feet attachment pins had sheared and there was only one foot remaining. I had to get creative to attach them but they work fabulously! About 1" clearance which will help with airflow, thermals, and mitigate some dust.
  13. I was experiencing some thermal issues with the XPS case due to the number of drives crammed within. Since one of the oldest piece kit was disassembled and parts went to my niece's rebuild project, other components were available to provide an upgrade (also got back my Antec P280 monster midtower back!). Storage for this build will be 10.91TB across 4 WD RE 4TB drives in RAID 5 array, 932GB for OS & apps, 4.562TB total for "scratch" work and backups, for a grand total of 16.472TB of storage. 14. I like that with either a phone app or controller, you can use them to navigate. Just another toy? You betcha! Another piece of kit kept out of the e-waste bin? Yup!

  16. The Gaming Historian Quits YouTube After 15 Years Great source of gaming history, some we know, some we though we knew, and some that we didn't know at all!
  17. National Arcade Day - National Day Archives
  18. @ClassicGMR seems to me that you could incorporate this into your travel gaming build in some way?
  19. He's referring to the PinballX integrated Steam Pinball FX entries.
  20. Typically we do not recommend troubleshooting PinballX against beta builds. If a code change is required for PinballX, then we are potentially chasing beta code changes, which is wasteful.
  21. Some may not change to "Classic" so may need to have an additional integrated support addition for the Steam version, same as the previous Pinball FX interactions.
  22. If the previous version of Pixelcade displayed the emulator titles, I am not sure that there's anything that can be done on the GameEx side to compensate for their apparent code change. That said, I appreciate the awareness. We definitely need to know what changes they made, whether or not corresponding updates were made to the latest version of LEDBlinky or if any update of LEDBlinky plugin is required, and what, if any testing was done by either/both with recent versions of GameEx. Keep us posted on what either dev has to say.
  23. Thanks for the demo! I have zero experience in working with the GameEx plugins. You may want to open another thread and document what you want to do with your plugin, where you are running into any issues, and provide any detailed examples. I am certain @Tom Speirs will be able to help you fill in any blanks!
  24. Thank you for being stubborn and proving me wrong! Would you mind attaching a brief video to show how this works within your build?
