Thank you for reporting. @Tom Speirs will need to address this as we have several instances of black screen issues since recent revisions.

FEATURE REQUEST: GameEx and GameEx Arcade Edition prompt to install each to a separate path via combined installer For existing installations, having to move AE to the main GameEx path is a bit of a chore for those of us with current separate installations. This has the potential to bugger up plugins and other things best kept separate.

Does it seem to freeze on specific or random tables? If specific, what tables?

Sounds kind of drastic given that you just reported a few problems. but your choice. We do what we can to address the reported issues as soon as we can.

Then try another version? I was able to download 18.87 and install it over the top without a problem?

Go to Downloads > GameEx and scroll to What's New in Version 18.94. Click See Change Log and select the version you wish to download and download it.

Under display you have rotation set for Monitor 2 at 90 degrees: [Display] Monitor=2 rotate=90 You could try changing the value to 180 which ahould flip it upright.

Hall effect sticks arrived 12/17. I am unable to install them and the new ABXY buttons as my vision has been a bit unsettled due to cataract surgeries. I am also awaiting arrival of an illuminated magnifier si that I can see the innards nice and big. Stay tuned..

How will this impact existing installs where GameEx and GameEx Arcade Editions are installed in separate directories? For those of us that have both setup for development and triage this could be a major impact if AE is selected but updates the GameEx folder instead.

Please attach updated copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt files from 18.87 immediately following a crash for review. At this point I cannot triage any further as I cannot replicate the issue on my side. @Tom Speirswill need to dig further into the issue following his previous response and as he has the time to do so. That said, I ask for continued patience as we are dealing with the Holidays and all things that real life throw at us that preclude an immediate response.

I tested adding videos to the integrated MAME path \MAME\defaultthemevideos using names for the categories and it does not work. I believe this will have to be an enhancement request.

Agreed. Your version is too far out of current so will require updating to the latest version and updated pinballx.ini and log.txt files if the issue persists.
