  1. Yeah, I have been tossing that idea around more again lately. I have a few older Dell desktops in a good state (other than not Win 11 compatible) that would work nicely for that. Of course, the ADHD kicks in and says "Well, since you are thinking about a print server, why not have the box serve files (media, local backups, etc.) and I hear the cha-CHING cha-CHING of an old-fashioned cash register as the components start to add up. BAD ADHD!
  2. Yeah, I was goiing to do the same but thought it a good exercise to put it back into the user's court to do the right thing. Go Go Google Translate!
  3. De acordo com as regras do fórum, traduza para o inglês ao solicitar assistência. Obrigado.

  5. Gotcha. I wonder if they ship to the US and does it cost a pretty penny? EDIT: Now this is disconcerting:
  6. You may have to create a shortcut (.lnk) for each game executable. Below is what you would put in your emulator slot for the ROM filter and Command line entries: romfilter=*.lnk command=[ROMPath]\[RomFile]
  7. Are you able to run games through it outside of GameEx? All instructions I have seen point to running via Launchbox and very, VERY involved. Have you tried running a standard command line? If so, please attach copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt files right after attempting to run.
  8. Below is a list of virtual pinball programs and support sites list. Please note in reply any sites that you feel should be added. 9. Can you load your exe via Windows startup then launch Instant Sheller instead of within Shell:startup? I do not use Instant Sheller so not sure what else to suggest.
  10. Awesome approach and thanks for letting us know. This would explain why we have not been able to replicate the issue from our side. I look forward to further findings. Perhaps something did not get added correctly to the gameex.ini when the upgrade from 18.56 occurred originally and carried forward all along.
  11. Tom will need to answer but I am not able to replicate even with the latest. Did you provide Tom with a copy of your theme as he requested? Also, can you please attach updated copies for the latest version of your gameex.ini and log.txt files? Thanks!
  12. My guess is using Steam to convert Xinput to Dinput and subsequent changes within Steam may have broken that approach. The Reddit link I shared is to a Joyrider post regarding using X360ce for this.
  13. If the controls do not work outside of PinballX, then you must get that resolved first. There's no way to triage the problem through PinballX. Have you posted on any program forums for Zen Pinball FX3 itself? Also, have you considered X360ce? This would likely do better than Steam at converting to dinput and appears to be better able than Xpadder. https://www.reddit.com/r/PinballFX3/s/kvRnUHmTYW
  14. Windows 11 data collection: https://www.pcworld.com/article/2379675/ways-windows-11-collects-your-data-and-what-you-can-do-about-it.html
  15. If I understand you correctly, you initially had Steam FX3 installed, but then later went to non-Steam FX3? If that is accurate, was the Steam version uninstalled completely? The working/not working state woild indicate possible confusion between the two. Have you successfully launched and ran FX3 outside of PinballX and using Xpadder? If so, what were the results?
  16. The approach that I took was similar with a gradual reduction schedule but leading to a set quit date. Working a stressful desk job, I took a week's vacation the week of my quit. A brief walk whenever I felt the urge, Pep-O-Mint Lifesavers or gum if I couldn't get away. Still smoke-free today!
  17. No, just install over the top of what you already have. The installer will update and add files as needed. The 2 tables are virtual demo mockups only and not functional.
  18. Have you upgraded to the latest version of PinballX? After upgrading to the latest version, if still any issues and changes made by you to your configuration, please attach updated copies of your pinballx.ini and log.txt files post error condition for review.
  19. When reporting an issue, please attach (no copy & paste) copies of your pinballx.ini and log.txt files for review. While some responses may not require them, more often than not it is beneficial to have them up front to start the triage process.
  20. Have seen similar over the years. They come and go, increase/decrease their offerings, or disappear.
  21. Out of curiosity, are LAV codecs installed? Asking for a friend...
  22. I took a lob across the net then the sun went down and missed the return. Some days I deal better with extreme brevity than others and need it spelled out. Thanks @scutters!
  23. So are you saying that you are running a non-Steam version of FX3? The part of the statement quoted would lead on to believe that you cannot run the Steam version of FX3 which, unless not configured properly, would be no fault of the frontend - PinballX. When requesting assistance, please be advised that it is a best practice ato attach (no copy & paste please) copies of your pinballx.ini and log.txt files right after you recreate the error condition - in this case, attempting to launch an FX3 table. This will make isolation of your issue quicker. Thanks.
  24. What resolved it for you if you don't mind?
