  1. @Tom Speirs will need to determine what code or library change in 6 30+ may be contributing to the issue you are reporting. As for the UAC prompt running Powereshell, have your tried just running command line via batch file instead?
  2. Click the "See Changelog" dropdown in the PinballX download to access previous versions:
  3. Was the computer shutdown or restarted after the update to the latest version? Have you attempted to download and reinstall PinballX over the top of the current installation?
  4. I split this from the app thread as my gut tells me that this may be related to another issue @loonytu reported in a separate thread.
  5. The act of double-click to launch PinballX as aluded to in the thread title is different than "starting when the computer loads." Please clarify if it is launching multiple instances of PinballX on computer start or when double-clicking a shortcut. Thanks
  6. If you setup a batch file to run the command lines to kill both processes (VPx and PUP) what happens?
  7. I edited the title of this thread accordingly. Knowing that it impacts multiple PUP tables is more beneficial for a possible solution. Thanks for testing your collection further and reporting back.
  8. Doubtful that PinballX will be "bug fixed" for one-off issues with tables launching PUp packs via Pinup Player. @scuttersreference is probably the best alternative available. Of course, this is just my opinion as I am not the PinballX author.
  9. You indicated Sunday that you resolved all but 1 table (ACDC). Do you have a log from after trying to record that one table?
  10. Seems that ACDC has been a problem child for various reasons over the years.
  11. Was that with using the two lines that Tom suggested or without?
  12. I haven't reloaded these on my gaming PC or the latest GameEx on it for that matter so may take a while for me to test unless Tom sees something right away.
  13. I assume that you are using the latest versions of both Model2 and SuperModel emulators?
  14. Is it happening for all games, some games randomly, or only specific ones? If the latter, can you list the games impacted? Thanks!
  15. Can you add the following manually under the [VideoCapture] section of your pinballx.ini and provide updated copies of your pinballx.ini and log.txt files and results? UseGDIGrab=true noplayfieldthread=true
  16. https://vpuniverse.com/forums/topic/9420-pup-packs-not-closing-in-vpx/ - this specifically references Iron Maiden.
  17. Is that the only table that is not closing properly? If it is the only table of several using PUP then it may not necessarily be PinballX. Please provide examples of other tables if there are any.
  18. MS hasn't updated its site as there are numerous posts about the same issue. Internal wonks have provided a temporary link to an ISO in the past, but most recent (last year or so) they have stopped and point users to the Create Windows 11 Installation Media instructions. I had created a 24H2 installation thumb drive recently using that method so was able to launch setup to kick off the install process.
  19. Has anyone attempted to update an incompatible PC/laptop from Windows 10 to 11 following the steps in this video? I discovered that I was not able to download the ISO from the Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO) for x64 section as instructed, so had to Create Windows 11 Installation Media (first section) of the Download Windows 11 page, then pickup from the Command Prompt steps and run setup from the thumb drive.
  20. The process name is the same. There is a difference, however, in the use of Taskkill command line. Within Win 7, you can get by with taskkill /IM ZaccariaP8nball.exe yet in Windows 10/11, you have to add /F to the end of the command line - taskkill /IM ZaccariaPinball.exe /F which is a forced kill switch.
  21. You're welcome! Glad that worked out for you!
  22. Fanatical's Star Wars Collection is $16.99 for 14 games: Stars Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy Star Wars Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith Star Wars Republic Commando Star Wars Starfighter Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition Star Wars The Force Unleashed II Star Wars: Dark Forces Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Star Wars Empire at War: Gold Pack Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II Star Wars Battlefront II (Classic). Please note: The Star Wars Collection is delivered as a single Steam PC key.
  23. If you can identify the process you could possibly create a batch file to kill the process name and point to it in the Launch After section in the emulator for Zaccaria. https://www.wikihow.com/Use-Taskkill#:~:text=Running the Taskkill Command in,to forcefully end the process.
  24. Are there differences between joy.cpl in Windows 7 and Windows 10? Also suggest comparing the pinballx.ini [KeyCodes] and [JoyCodes] sections between the two installs.
