  1. Have I mentioned that I've 1) Still not read the 1st book, 2) Still not seen the 1st movie, 3) I preordered and still owned a sealed 4k BluRay? I need to work on this..
  2. Wait, did something change? I've seen people with pictures of buildings, their car, their cat, and even blacked out as their profile picture.. Why the need to have a photo of you? I wasn't aware anything had changed on that front. In fact, my profile picture right now is a picture of me I generated using an app from my workplace that creates a 3D model of a person using the same artwork style as our current advertising campaign. It looks similar to me, but it's clearly not me. I was never instructed to change it.
  3. I'm still sitting on my Force Feedback stick from before the fire. Still don't have that required power cable lol.
  4. Happy belated brother! Sorry I missed it. I worked 12pm-8pm last night and then had to be back in 6am this morning. So I literally had to sleep as soon as I got home last night. Hope your day was better than mine. I'm literally dying at work.. haven't had a day off since I returned from surgery. Body is so tired and sore. But this isn't about me! TTYL!
  5. It's an official publication, yes, but it was published YEARS before Disney's decision to "Legendize" all previous productions. So that, by itself, indicates it's not Canon. Another indication is that the story line takes place in the "Tag & Bink" stories. Those were written with levity in mind. It was a joke when it was first published. So no worries, that's not how he survived.
  6. Updated... And may I say.. a HUGE improvement!! You went from last place to 2nd place, and almost tripled your previous score! Way to go bud! In other news... sorry updates have been non-existent this past month. I had my long awaited hernial surgery and have been slowly recovering. I was originally supposed to have this done a while ago. Back in January I had a rupture but wasn't able to get it looked at in detail because I had just begun recovery from a nasty C-Diff infection last year. They had to wait at least 6 weeks before they could do anything. So middle of February comes and they get me in for a CT scan. Then 2 weeks later I had the followup where I was diagnosed with 2 new hernias officially, and surgery would take place in another week. YET, here comes COVID-19. One of my co-workers that work in the Produce department was able to get in for his "nearly" identical surgery just 3 days before the lockdown. I, unfortunately had to wait. They suspended all selective surgeries, which this was categorized as. So I suffered, with a ruptured previous hernia repair, and 2 new hernias. FINALLY, come May 5th, I had my surgery. They were able to do a quick fix of the rupture, which apparently wasn't as bad as it felt. They also repaired and meshed up the 2 new guys. Turns out, the PAINFUL hernia I had was related to the new one. What had happened, the original hernia that was repaired LAST January 2019 had a mesh installed and a new hernia popped out right next to the edge of the mesh. The other hernia was located up above my belly button and it was the one that hurt. All told, the surgery went fine, I slept through it, woke up and it was done. I was able to move enough to get dressed and get home. Then I crashed in bed for like 4 days, hardly moving. Rolling over hurt, sitting up hurt, and going to the bathroom was killer. But that's because the tissues and what not had not healed yet. At this point today, the pain is gone, but I know I'm still not fully recovered. I'm returning to work next week, with limited lifting restrictions. Everybody at work "misses me" but I think they just miss my work and my help, not me personally, but I can hope right? Anyway, I should be hopefully back to keeping the high score tables updated!
  7. Updated...
  8. Disney just doesn't know what to do. The Executives are realizing what a mistake they made hiring Kathleen Kennedy as the "key master" to everything Star Wars. She (KK) isn't in it for the movies or the story, let alone the fans. She has a feminist agenda that just reeks. Granted, Star Wars needed more female characters, I get it. But it didn't need to have mostly all the new characters be female. Rey, Rose (and her sister), Admiral Holden, that freaky lady with the beak nose who made out with that other chick.. That's not necessary and quite sickening. I'm not against strong female characters, and leads to boot. What I have issues against is the blatant disregard for character development and then turn around and have said character be gay and kiss another just for the sake to prove a point. KK has nearly destroyed Star Wars for me, unfortunately. Galaxy's Edge is another point of proof that this woman should NOT be in charge. Galaxy's Edge was originally supposed to be a space port akin to Mos Eisley, complete with a legit cantina. BUT, KK took issue to it, saying these movies took place 40 years ago and the only people who would visit would be old geeky fanboys. No, she want's it contemporary, so TODAY'S generation would enjoy it. WTF... this place never existed in anything before she came along. At least a "Mos Eisley" mock up would have been familiar. As for the last movie (Rise of Skywalker), apparently there's like 3 hours of cut tape that KK tried to sweep under the rug. She refused to allow it be added as "deleted scenes" in the home release too. In another couple of years though (already been officially announced) a Director's Cut will be released on Disney+ that includes a lot of this missing film. Daisy Ridley is PISSED about it too, because she spent months training for a huge 20-minute epic fight scene between her and Palpatine with Ben Solo (not Kylo) similar to the Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon vs Darth Maul fight and the whole thing was cut because KK didn't like the feel of it. Instead, a scene was added where they bring each other back to life (another KK created skill that never existed before) and then kiss for no reason. And then let's bring up Mandalorian. I have no desire to buy a subscription to Disney+ just to watch it. I have all the Marvel movies on BluRay, so there's nothing else D+ offers me. If Mandalorian comes out on BluRay, yeah I might buy it. But apparently there's a lot of controversy with it too. For instance, this "baby Yoda" (whatever it is), KK is trying to say was HER idea, and they never gave her credit for it. Plus, it was supposed to be female (of course). And now there's a rumor going around that in the next season Boba Fett will actually be a female, and that the character is just wearing his armor. Apparently she's also in the process of building a new series, which will be female-centric, with female directors. She's been quoted saying Star Wars is done after the Skywalkers, and that it's time to move on to something new and fresh. Now Disney has brought back George Lucas to help John Favreu and Dave Filoni to continue the Star Wars Story, and KK has been restricted from having any kind of input. Disney Execs, and the Fans, all want KK fired. But Disney says their hands are tied because this is a woman with money and power, and if they fire her it will be nothing but bad press about how Disney is being sexually discriminant. Well.. if the shoe fits (something they should be familiar with). This is the 21st century. Sexist, feminist bigotry does not belong in the world, let alone DISNEY.
  9. I'm alright. Thanks guys! I finally had my hernia surgery and I've been home recovering. Haven't felt like doing much. Just laying round, eating junk food, and watching TV. I just bought an Amazon Fire Stick so I'm trying to get it all working. I have a smart TV with everything like Amazon/Netflix/etc, but my Dad doesn't. I'm trying to program this guy for him. So I've been trying to keep busy.
  10. The whole world blew up with covid-19 and nobody know's what the frack is going on anymore.
  11. Definitely. 9 tables, at such a good price! :p
  12. Nice entry! Thanks for the submission. Hope you and your family are safe and healthy! Updated OP, DB, RSS
  13. So, Youtube's servers are getting hammered with everybody staying at home with nothing better to do. Their response is to disable the automatic setting to allow high bandwith HD signals. Ok, you can still override that. Now today at work I heard a rumor that ISPs are throttling back their speeds because they can't support the bandwith demand. WTF. I'm still not getting what they advertise is their baseline speed. They advertise 100mbit "starting" speeds. We get 80mbit on perfect days. A friend of mine said he heard they were going to drop to 20mbit until relief starts. OMG WTF.
  14. Yeah my job is just ridiculous. We've had to change our operating hours to close earlier and open later just so we can have time to restock our shelves. Of course, customers don't understand that. They wonder why I'm able to walk past the 30+ line of people waiting to get in and just open the door so I can start my day. They're pounding on the doors 5 minutes till open time demanding they get let in. Then the stress starts, hearing announcements over the intercom every 10 minutes saying "we got 20 minutes guys", "10 minutes to go", "5 minutes left", "here they come!". Then you see a freaking cattle herd running through the store with people grabbing up everything they possibly can. The meat department guys across the way trying to tell customers there's a limit of 3 items total (beef, chicken, fish, whatever, 3 total, not 3 each). Every single customer has like 8 packs of family size hamburger in their carts. Then the idiots try to come to the deli counter and just stand there like they don't know how to read. We have a sign in bright red color that says the deli counter opens at 8. But the customers still come to the counter at 7:03 demanding service. Like, I just walked in the door. I have an hour to get other things done before management comes in wanting to know why "this" or "that" isn't done yet. But apparently, our store manager (top leader) doesn't understand things either. I had a customer last Friday literally argue with me and my department head about how the sign says 7:00 (store hours) and never saw the deli sign. When we tried to explain it, she got so pissed, yelled that we're just standing around not doing anything, and was going to complain. 10 minutes later the guy opening the service counter up front comes up and tells me to cut stuff for her. I make more money than him, I'll be damned if I'm going to stop what I'm doing to make things easier for him because he can't deal with an upset customer. Rules have to be followed or anarchy ensues. My department head then flipped on him and said "well, what if I come to your counter at 7:30 and demand a money order, you gonna tell me no too? Seems like rules only apply to you and not others". The end result of that scene was the store manager coming to me and telling me "that scene was completely unnecessary. That if a customer wants something, we stop what we're doing and help them, even if we're not open yet. We want their money, we don't turn them away." The whole rest of the day we're all like "whats the point of closing earlier and opening later if our company is so greedy they want customer's money rather than getting our job done?" Apparently, we should be open 24/7 and not worry about stocking shelves and getting the departments ready for opening. It's chaos, Truth is, management gets a bonus if the store exceeds a set income for the week, and he's just being greedy and expects to get more on his bonus by selling that extra 2 pounds to a customer an hour before we're open. To make matters worse, they're still treating our employees like drones, not willing to listen to excuses for calling off or being sick. We're told we're not allowed to wear face masks and gloves because it promotes the idea that we're sick to our customers. And yet, management is practicing social distancing by locking themselves in their offices and not coming out, but just answering escalated calls. It's sickening. But on the plus side, they did give us a $25 store credit last week, to spend on specific restricted necessities (of which was all sold out by the time I could get some). I'm just so tired, exhausted, and sick of it all.
  15. Try being me guys. I work in a grocery store deli. It has been HORRIBLE for me. Please be kind, considerate, respectful, and THANKFUL for those of us putting our lives on the line working every day to make sure you get your necessities. Hat's off to you @stigzler. Hang in there buddy. As for the rest of you, please just take a moment to thank those workers on the front lines making sure your family gets what it needs. We don't need pissed off people arguing at us about why something isn't the way it is. We're doing our best. We know we're out of stock already, you don't have to tell us lol.
  16. Nice improvement! Moved up 2 places in the leaderboard. Honestly, I'm surprised that with what's going on in the world right now (Coronovirus) that there's not more people just sitting at home playing games and making new high scores. I mean, yeah I'm not THAT surprised, our competition hit it's high point then has been slowly dying. Thanks for submitting a score and trying to keep this forum active! Updated OP, DB, RSS
  17. Is this in the wake of the absurdity running rampant about the "coronovirus?" I can't even give out sample cookies to little kids at work because they don't want to have me exposed to the potential. They don't even have a confirmed case in my state, but yeah, we've been sold out of face masks and hand sanitizer for weeks.
  18. This is one of those great arcade classic games that I'm only any good at on the Atari 800 with a joystick. Playing it with game pad through emulation just bites. Even tried with a mouse, and it's just ridiculous. I don't know, maybe the home computer/console version was slower. Maybe I was just better as a kid. Still, its a fun game. Just wish I was better at it. Updated OP, DB ,RSS
  19. Hate you.. I still can't make it to the 2nd (or was it 3rd) stage. I was way better with my Atari 800 version, but it probably used different algorithms. Thanks for trying to keep us alive! Updated OP, DB, RSS
  20. Thanks guys for your first round of submissions! Updated OP, DB, RSS

  23. Nope! Sorry I missed these. When I updated the other thread, I didn't know these others needed it too. Updated OP, DB, RSS
