Wow, so you did that by starting at a higher difficulty and only completing 2 stages? Not bad! The image is a bit hard to read (not your fault). Is it 147,300 or 147,800? Unless you say otherwise (legitimately!) I'll go with 147,300. Updated OP, DB, RSS

Thanks for the info RTKIII!! I'll fix that right away.

It's not what you think.. That IS the theme... the artwork changes on the monitor per game. It's not a real machine you're looking at, just 1 game. I'm probably wrong though, there probably is a machine somewhere they are using a photo of for their frame. But yea, that's not real, just a separate layer on their theme.. the wheel images/list goes on the right.

We have quite a few hi-score games to choose from and each month new games will be added. Because we want you to be able to check at a glance which hi-score games are part of our competition we have created this Games List (alphabetical order). It's easy and simple > just browse this list and click on the game you want to play. Enjoy ! The purpose of this list, as opposed to the v1 list, is that we can keep this list in alphabetical order and have it ordered numerically. We will attempt to keep this list updated as new games are added to our competition. As this site continues to develop and upgrade, the lists here will also become more enhanced and "evolve". We will attempt to have our resident HS Programmer (Adultery) add some lines of code to his already masterful DB Manager to automate this a bit with a table structure so it's not one long vertical line. 1941 Counter Attack 1943: The Battle of Midway 1944 A.B. I still suck at this game! I can't get past 6k. There's gotta be something I'm missing, like a pattern or something. Maybe I'm just too nervous trying to play with a gamepad. I should try it with a keyboard. Nice score though! Updated OP, DB, RSS

I'm home now, so I'm working on rebuilding our game list to make finding a game for the ROTM easier. Also, I added your games rtkii!

There are so many pinball machines I wish I could play and own. This is one of them. Too bad most of us work 9-5 minimum wage jobs and can never afford such things.

That's pretty neat if you're into that kind of thing. It's flashy, which I like. I think I prefer a static marquee though. This is specific for their front-end though. I doubt it could be ported over to use in a full cab.

Honestly, Linux is a beast to learn if you've grown up with Windows like I have. Aside from people trying to make it easier with pre-made setups, menus, etc, you sill have to spend quite a lot of time in the terminal screens (think DOS). Luckily, the internet makes it somewhat easier to find what you need, because there's always somebody out there like you who had no idea what they were doing and asked, and somebody was nice enough to answer! The other nice thing, if you're going RetroPie, is their forum is full of nice people like here at GameEx with people who will help you do whatever you're trying to do (if it's possible that is). The only thing I'm hoping will come out soon is a Visual Pinball port, or some open-source creation that can use their created tables. That'd be the icing on the cake. That, or a Linux (ARM) compiled version of GameEx.

I don't care which difficulty you select. We're just a friendly community competition here. Whatever you think will help you, go for it. We just don't want any cheaters. TwinGalaxies doesn't have any specific limitations to what level/difficulty you use other than the DIP settings. We try to stay with their rules since it's a good way to make sure we're all using the same settings.

That's all nice and all.. but you have to be careful. The Pi3 gets really hot. You'd be ahead building something with more room for it to breathe in. If you bought just the Pi, you're gonna wanna go back and buy (or order online) a set of heatsinks. They're cheap but worth it. One word of advice: BACKUP. When you're playing around with it, makes lots and lots of backups of your SD card. Trial and error. Do something, see if works and you like it. If you do, backup and try adding something else. Don't like it, restore the backup. That's how I got to where I am now with mine. It really is a lifesaver. Just like saving in games... going somewhere underleveled means easy death. If you didn't save before hand, you're SOL and gotta start waaaaay back.

Yeah, it's in the first post. Unless you purposely changed it, the default is fine. I think the IN GAME difficulty is just a level select more or less. Lets you start off at a higher level. But you still start with 0 points, so it makes no sense to not start at the beginning.

I didn't know there was a Grand Master 2. I thought maybe it was a typo because it doesn't show up in my list. It's not on TwinGalaxies either.

Still better than mine! I tried playing a bit last night and didn't even hit 10k! Good job! Updated OP, DB, RSS

Atari is the original though (well, depending on who you ask). Atari is the reason we have games today. They established the market. To have them come back all Phoenix style would be awesome. Sega is still around to some degree making games. I guess the same is true for Atari too. And while both makers did release "flashback" consoles, I think Atari could really be great again if they just tried. The Jaguar was just a system released ahead of it's time. And their controller sucked.

Welcome aboard @Luigimaker! I'm always excited to see new competitors. Remember, you can post scores on ANY of our games. Don't feel like you only have access to this one. The more you play, the higher your overall ranking will be in our Leaderboard! Hope you enjoy your stay, and get a nice warm welcome from everybody else here! Updated OP, DB, RSS

Welcome Luigimaker! I'll add a few of those to the list. Donkey Kong is already available to play, as is Tetris Grand Master! We also have the 1st Metal Slug available, but I'll add the other ones to the list! Feel free to jump right in on those and post a score. There's nothing holding you back preventing you from doing so! Enjoy the competitions! EDIT: Is "Susume! mile smile" the same as "Susume! Taisen Puzzle-Dama"? The only available entry at TwinGalaxies for settings rules is: http://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?platformid=46&gamename=Susume! Taisen Puzzle-Dama [GV027 JAPAN 1.20] I just want to make sure before adding it.

Man can you guys imagine what the world would be like if Atari suddenly rose from the ashes, and came out today with a Jaguar-like console to compete with the Xbox One and PS4? Just out of nowhere, and with it brought a renaissance of gaming? It'd be awesome if Atari suddenly just came out with a whole bunch of HD remakes of all their games. Secret codes or unlockables to play the originals... I'd be the first one to buy one.
