I just did a fresh reinstall of Windows 7 and GameEx seems to run fine at default. Don't know if I should drag all my old files to the new installation because I'm afraid I'll get the slowdown but I need my settings...

Sorry man, was real busy yesterday. I meant that I deleted the 2nd drive after you had mentioned it because I remembered something about 2 drives screwing up the setup before. The drive number is 0 and it still doesn't dismount with the new plugin. The batch hangs at the unmount command and opens DTL but doesn't do anything. (I used the SCSI setting in the plugin) Also, the scroll speed remains the same in GameEx. (if you threw a fix in for it in the beta you gave me)

When I do it through GameEx when it's supposed to dismount, my DT opens up but it doesn't dismount. And it does not dismount through the batch file. My Saturn Games are normally 7zipped but I tried this with both 7zipped and raw ISO formats, and both wont dismount.

Here ya go. dtloader.7z Saturn games don't dismount my command is ssf.exe [DTLOADER-SCSI] in the config. Virtual Drive loader has these commands for the saturn -mount 0, "[RomPathFull]" and -unmount 0

You're amazing dude! It doesn't straight up lock up anymore, but it still is really slow to load the videos. My MAME list is unaffected somehow by this slowdown so I can get a good comparison between what it should be and what it is. If there's a way to look at how my MAME stuff is responding compared to everything else I think you could pinpoint the exact issue. I'll update my logs and stuff for ya to check em out in the morning. Thank you for this, I know you have a life. PS Function Logger still crashes with the same error.

Just wanted to let people know that updating to 14.05 does not fix any of the scrolling lag.

I really appreciate it man. I'm really dumb when it comes to debugging and stuff of that nature. I have no idea what/where the crash handler is. I took snaps of the error I was getting in post 51. Hope that helped. If I run the plugin program as admin it does work. Not sure about the plugins themselves still. The plugin manager is under admin rights to begin with and stuff like the function logger, game info plugin give an error. There used to be more that wouldn't work like the mame commander wouldn't but it loads fine now. My Full path to GameEx is C:\GameEx\GameEx.exe

I'm on framework 4... Didn't know I needed 2.0 I thought they were AIO installs that had the previous version in it. I tried installing 2 and it said it was already a part of my OS. I can't be having more issues because I had ZERO up until I updated my GameEx. Literally nothing else has/had been touched and my GameEx was working fine right before I updated it and was broke immediately after I updated.

You're awesome but your drac labs plugin program also gives me an unhandeled exception error. heres what I'm getting and I do have every MVC++ .NET and all the other crap you usually need to run stuff so I'm stumped.error.7z Still getting terrible slowdown after updating my Plugins to what you linked me to. ok so now I'm experiencing some WEIRD behavior. With the VDL and Xpadder on but Quick launch off I can navigate the menus a tad faster than if I had them all on but not as fast as it was if they were all off. Now none of my snaps are showing up when I click on a game its there but nothing shows up. When I highlight a game it'll either show the video or it wont and then tell me I have... idk its extremely hard to describe. Only some of my emulators are affected. My Atari 7800 games seem most affected. I have video snaps for every 7800 game I own and they are all pointed to properly. Gonna upload a video for you to observe. PS I don't use the gameinfo plugin. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVe413dzOnw&feature=youtu.be All is fixed for my 7800 snaps, apparently they stopped working because of there being stuff like (USA) at the end of my videos when there isn't any in my ROM names. Also disabling the VDL helps but only when both the VDL and the Quicklaunch are disabled do I get full scrolling speed back.

Well in either case I'm glad you helped me narrow down the problem. Hopefully Adultery can easily figure it out now that we know its any of those 3 plugins causing the issue.

Thank you for the reply Tom. The only plugins I have enabled is Virtual Drive Loader, Quick Launch, and Xpadder. I need these to run my games properly, but when they are off, I don't experience any issues with the scrolling. But now I won't be able to play my PS1 or Saturn games without the plugins running. Any solution to that? lol

This is exactly why I highly disagree with games being stored on the cloud/streaming. I want to physically hold my copy of my game. Or at least be able to point to a physical object in my possession and say "my game is in that." Cause if not when the company sinks, or their servers crash, so do your games and chances of getting them again.

Apparently Evilforces and I are still the only ones with this problem and I can't even find a older version to downgrade to. Wish Tom could give his 2 cents on the subject, maybe he'd have an idea on what could be causing this behavior.

Are there any PC emulators that support the GBC bios? I use one on my DS called GameYob and its amazing, it can use the GBC bios so Monotone GB games have a basic color palette instead of being ugly black and white. I haven't been able to figure it out for any other emulator for the GB out there.
