I've had it installed for less than a year. I think January is when i installed the OS but I'm having no issues with anything atm. My Daemon Tools now works. I know where you're coming from but I much rather try a reinstall of GameEx than reinstalling my whole OS since that is the only problem that I have currently. I will do a reinstall if I do happen to come across any more issues though.

Yes well I'll give that a go. But may I remind you my problems arised out of nowhere when it was working before. AND all this happened before I updated my drivers. Me updating my drivers is my attempt at fixing GameEx but it doesn't. All my games play fine when I play them too no errors, just GameEx. I don't think it has anything to do with my PC tbh. I might have to reinstall GameEx but I really don't want to. I would need to backup my settings if I were going to try that.

I did not receive a windows update, AMD told me to. I don't know why it would have anything to do with my APU though, I've only ever been using my GPU albeit dual graphic'd with my APU but I had only updated my GPU, APU is untouched.

Maybe, shortly after AMD popped up saying I needed to update my drivers and I did. Problem is now I have to use the HDMI port on my motherboard to output my display instead of doing it through my Radeon HD 7750. I ran into this problem before but I completely forgot what I did to get it to go back to the graphics card. I wouldn't want to test GameEx until then.

I haven't been using GameEx much lately, mostly because I'm waiting for Evo and I've been playing around with my consoles, but I digress. I've tried using GameEx today and everything loaded and ran fine until I hit fullscreen. It crashed and returned me to the desktop. Upon further inspection of the Log there wasn't anything wrong. So I tried to run it again and it immediately crashed upon startup, now displaying this in the log: 15:43:31.9 10/23/2014: Initialization OK! Starting GameEx! 15:43:31.9 10/23/2014: Testing Main Loop Once: Processing Frame 15:43:32.0 10/23/2014: --**-- 15:43:32.0 10/23/2014: ERRORS DETECTED: EXITING 15:43:32.0 10/23/2014: Index was outside the bounds of the array. 15:43:32.0 10/23/2014: at GameEx.GameEx.MainForm.d1() log.txt I appreciate any and all help.

So what does anyone think of my idea? idk how to explain it quite right. :/

I'm not sure what I did, but I reinstalled Daemon Tools yesterday and it hasn't crashed or screwed me over in any way since. Maybe it's because I used my AIO PC cleaner and it cleared my registry of the old installation. So I highly suggest you uninstall DT AND clean your registry then reinstall. to fix the problem.

FEATURE REQUEST/IDEA I've had this idea floating around in my head and I've been thinking about how sweet it would be if you could make your own "Channels", sort of like a video playlist but more complex. Say for instance you'd like to recreate the old Cartoon Network channel and you have all of your cartoons shuffled through with a few commercials from the 90s in between. Of course you'd have to have all the video files for all that. Settings would have ability to choose your movie/show directory, as well as your directory for your commercials/ads and how many commercials it would play in between shows/movies. If its even possible to "inject" commercials into a movie. Pause the movie and play over it with the commercial video then resume the movie/show once its done. I'm not too sure how hard this would be to pull off, but there's a lot of potential in making something new like this (afaik nobody has done this before) I'd call it a (Retro) Channel Simulator. You could also do stuff like make channels with nothing but cheezie old B movies and old goofy commercials/prevues. Endless possibilities I tell ya! You have a front end for Virtual Consoles and Virtual Pinball, why not Virtual TV Channels? Would make the multimedia side of GameEx a bit more interesting. I'd recreate the old Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon and make my own custom channels.

What are your favorite multiplayer games to play on the original xbox? Obviously besides Halo/2. I would really like to add some more multiplayer games to my collection. Preferably ones that aren't on the PS2/GameCube like Timesplitters. I understand. Like I said, I don't even know what I did. I haven't done anything different or changed any settings in DT. Uninstalling fixes my issues, but then I cant mount anything. When I reinstall it, the problem comes back. So it is DT causing it all. Just don't know how to reverse the problem if uninstalling and reinstalling it didn't change anything.

Just reinstalled DT and the hanging/not starting up is happening again. wtf am I supposed to do if I can't mount any ISOs with DT anymore? I don't want to use Power ISO or whatever that DT alternative is.

I appreciate all of you being patient with me, I've learned to google all my issues since google first came to be. I'm not getting anything specific either. The problem I'm having is, after trying to mount an image, and loading it up with SSF through GameEx it all stopped responding and froze and after I restarted it still wont open. I am currently uninstalling Daemon Tools but it appears to be frozen at the spot where it gets rid of the virtual drives. My uncle works in IT too, I'm gonna see if he can help at all. Oh look, it just stopped freezing and uninstalled Daemon Tools. DT has to be the problem because I can't load up any version of SSF I have. GameEx runs with Daemon Tools too so I'm assuming that is whats causing all my misfortune. Still don't even know what I did wrong to have this happen to begin with. Maybe mounting and dismounting too much??? Anyways, going to reinstall now and see if that fixes everything. OH HEY, GameEx loads up fine now since DT was uninstalled. Was probably trying to read the last ISO DT mounted and was hanging.

I need help with this still. My computer is going ape s**t. :'(

There's nothing in the log. It shows everything ran properly, but it didn't. The event viewer keeps talking about snap ins not loading and it does nothing useful for me.

I was trying to get my SSF emulator to work properly testing out different region Saturn games to see if they'd play. I could get an english game and a japanese game to play but when I tried Hyper Duel the game wouldn't boot and now GameEx, and Daemon Tools refuse to run now. Actually GameEx will run, half an hour after I hit the icon to start it up. and then it just hangs and sits there. I can't mount or dismount any games anymore either because of Daemon Tools screwing me over. I have no idea what I did to make this happen.and its kinda pissin me off. :/ And yes I've restarted my PC.

Yeah man, there's no telling how far it'll go! PCSX2 is kind of hiding in the shadow of Dolphin now (more than ever). Which is a shame because it has the same potential as Dolphin. But from what I read recently its going to take forever for PCSX2 to even go 64 Bit. A move that Dolphin has already made months ago. I hope more people go to help PCSX2 just as much as they are with Dolphin because Dolphin has basically become my virtual copy of my physical Wii with my NAND dumped into it.

There have been huge performance improvements this month! Even Star Wars Rouge Squadron 2 plays again, and faster at that. Plus tons of performance improvements all around. It gives me the relief of knowing that its not me just being stupid. And that is always a good thing. I did mess with it in the control panel and I got it to be so sensitive it was just too much. There's no real way of controlling how sensitive it gets either so idk. But my triggers do work. I've been able to get the controller working for literally everything except a few MAME games that give me trouble. I hope someone who uses MAME a lot could help figure out whats going on.

Nobody else have anything to add? I could use all the advice I can get.

I'm running on the latest .154 version of MAME. .154 MAMEUIFX to be precise. But in my game list it shows both of those games as working fine. It probably is related to the version I'm using but I remember .152/3 doing the same performancewise.

I've done as you instructed but I've seen almost no change in performance even at the lowest possible resolution and no enhancements.

Well rest assured the triggers/pedals work, to an extent. The only game I've successfully been able to get the pedals working is California Speed, but I still don't think they're mapped right. The controls in the config screen ask for accel and decel for both the accelerator pedal and the decelerator/brake pedal. And I can't get it to map the trigger properly. So I can only achieve ~190MPH as well making me think something is wrong.

I was meaning more along the lines of needing something like Daemon Tools Lite or other similar ISO mounting software to mount your ISOs. And yeah it starts getting more complicated when you're playing multi region games on 1 setup through GameEx. I'm gonna end up making like 3 Saturn emulator slots for each region and then group them all together.
