  1. No, I know what you were saying. All my videos are named their proper names. All of my videos wont play, not just the multi disc ones if I have merge sets on. If Merge sets is off, all the videos play fine, but I have my multi disc games duplicated in the menu. I had tried every suggestion in this topic with no fix other than turning off my merged sets. and I'm not about to zip multiple big sized ISOs to have to avoid using merged sets. It would take too long for my games to load. Sorry I wasn't that clear in post #11 Seems to be a problem with any system with multi disc images. Apparently I've been able to get around it by making separate system entries for just my multi disc games. eg. I have a Sega Saturn emu setup and I have a Sega Saturn (Multi Disc) emu setup. Same with PS1. But I never made one for my PS2 emulator which is why my PS2 games seem to be mostly affected. Same for my GameCube games. EDIT: It seems the naming format for videos are based on the name in the GameEx list not the actual ROM/ISOs name when Merge Sets is turned on. Only difference is my files have (USA) at the end. I discovered this because some of my GC video snaps would play while others wouldn't. Upon inspecting my files names, the ones that were playing had no (USA) at the end. I thought that anything with () was ignored by GameEx? All of my PS2 ISOs have (USA) at the end, which is why they weren't playing. Strange thing is my videos were also named with (USA) so they should have still played shouldn't they have?
  2. ^ I want it all! I realized a negative thing from creating duplicate systems. Now when I play a game like SMW on SNES it says "Other Systems" SNES....
  3. I have often wanted to do a series list as well! But yeah, I doubt a multi favorite list would get added to the current GameEx. @RedDog Thanks for the super easy to understand instructions, you hit it right on the money as that's exactly what I'm gonna do. Gonna be a bit tedious still but worth it in the end!
  4. well wait a minute. I have zero experience with MAP files and regarding their place in the config do I just make a duplicate of each system and just use the map file on each duplicate? I thought MAP files only renamed files, not make like an ignore list though. I also can't see which plugin allows me to make map files though I remember messing with it a long time ago.
  5. Hey man! Yeah the general favorites is cool and all, but individual favorites lists would be sweeter and less cluttered imo. That's why I'm just gonna set up new "systems" in my menus that just contain the best of each regular (fullset) system I have set up already. Just want to know if there are any specific commands that are necessary for shortcut files.
  6. Did a quick search and didn't see anything, but can I use shortcuts that lead to my Roms in my setup? What I want to do is create separate "best of" lists for all my consoles since 90% of them have fullsets. It gets overwhelming for my friends to have to sift through all the poop to get to the good games. So I was thinking about making separate folders and putting shortcut files to all the best games in them that way I don't have to physically copy my games to another folder and double my space taken. Just don't know exactly how I'd set that up in the configuration.
  7. I guess you can close this thread down. I know what you're saying.
  8. Tried to see if I could get that DVD recorder fixed but thats just not a practical thing to do its basically worthless. Been loving Action in the meantime though!
  9. More updated files: 14.10 log and ini log.txt GameEx.ini 14.11 log and ini log.txt GameEx.ini
  10. Updated files: v14.09 GameEx.ini log.txt
  11. This looks frickin sweet man! Can't wait til you have it all finished. Keep it up!
  12. Is this not able to be fixed? This is still a problem for me. :/
  13. I just tried the latest stable build of Dolphin and it plays my games. So it must me something that was added in the dev builds (which is all I ever use). Sucks I can't play with all the enhancements that the dev builds have to offer anymore for some reason.
  14. Yeah, but I literally just got the ability to record at solid frame rates. :/ I was able to make about 24 video snaps for the Wii(Ware)/GC before dolphin got all janky on me. I lol'd pretty hard at the meme btw
  15. Ugh I seriously was this close today to breaking my PC. I don't get it. First ALL of my wads are deleted (but the folder wasn't somehow). Then when I recover them after scanning the drive all night they were corrupted. Finally I was able to get all my wads back and now I can't play Super Mario Sunshine on Dolphin without it freezing within seconds, though my wads play fine now AND my Super Mario Sunshine iso works on my Wii just fine so its not a corrupted game. I've tried all types of builds of Dolphin old and new. My graphic drivers are all up to date. My HDD has been scanned for errors and had found none. My other emulators work fine (Direct X/OGL). I just don't know what to do... I just want to play game and make video snaps dammit. :'(
  16. I've just discovered my entire full NTSC collection of Wiiware is gone/corrupted/destroyed. That's why dolphin was crashing. fml There's nowhere to get them anymore either.
  17. I just went through my HDD and scanned it for errors and found none. I think its either Dolphin messing up because it wont run my games or my graphics driver...
  18. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who has so many issues but now my Dolphin is acting up. and I think it has something to do with my External Hard Drive itself. I can navigate my HDD just fine but if I try to load Dolphin it'll either not load or take minutes to load and then when it does, plays no games. When I had it to scan my HDD it would take an hour to load the game list when before it was seconds. Also my WiiWare games magically deleted themselves and I had to recover them back. I just got this great recording software too
  19. You really want it as *.cue; if you want to avoid audio issues.
  20. I have a PoS capture dongle that's probably only good at ripping VHS tapes. Anything else like video games look like Sh** on it. Don't think it does multi monitor but I haven't had it for long.
  21. It has to be that i3 you got running in there. I have an A10-5800k Black edition, 8GB of DDR3 RAM @ 1600 HD7750+7660D crossfire Yours is lookin pretty good. But as long as I can record on most of my stuff I'll be happy.
  22. pcsx2 isn't doing me right. But I've only tried it with Godzilla Unleashed. Seems you have way better luck with it.
  23. I can't even tell you how impressed I am. I haven't done any PC games yet but from what I've already tested with Dolphin and PPSSPP with enhancements and upscaling I could never imagine it possible with my current setup. I can play the games just fine for the most part I just was never able to record at the same time, until now. And yeah it was hard to figure out until I tried Virtual Dub and its really easy now with H.264/x264vfw compression.
  24. It doesn't make sense. Dolphin should be looking there because that's where your ISO gets extracted to. You need to use runitgame.bat and runit.bat and post what it does here. There are more experienced people than I that could help if you give them everything they could need. Post your runit/game.bat here and hopefully someone can figure out what's going on, because I'm stumped. I use 7z for everything but my gamecube isos and I have no problems with any of them.
