When you run dmdext from the prompt with the parameters you specified, it will give you i formation. Info is stated if the pindmd3 is found on what port. It also should end with something like "waiting for frames". If this is the case, launch FX3 and it should shows that frames are send to your physical device. A Teensy board is used for adding addressable leds. On my cab the Teensy board is a bit the same as the pindmd3, and change the communication port from com3 to com5. I needed to change that. But the info can be found how I described above. It will show your device and the com port. dmdext mirror --source=pinballfx3 --no-virtual This should be the correct command. You can also add to exit dmdext when process is finished. And make sure tou have the version from begin November 2019 from dmdext !

If you use the -mirror option, you don't need have a dmd displayed (outside) the screen. Check in the dmdext screen if any frames are captured. Do you also have a teensy board in your cab ?

On ftp i put all the backglass videos and table videos videos. I also created dmd videos for real dmd and virtual dmd (only not have time to create the volume 5 dmd videos). Those should also work via gamemanager download. Check ftp on mikedaspike if you want to download them via ftp client

I don't know anymore. Think it is a pretty recent version. My dmd is working fine with that version of TPA

Maybe a stupid question. For vpx you always have a b2s file or not ? I don't know a table on my cab without a directb2s file

There is in the pinball folder also a program that will add pinballx to launch at start (or remove from start when run fir the 2nd time). Not sure exactly how to programbame is

I'm not a developer, but have some thoughts about a basic gamemanager with search etc. I want to start in the new year to give it a try.

Do you have a double instance runnin of Pinballx? I see double entries in log and also when lsunching a vpx, i see 2 different vpx tables are launched

Is it possible to generate the videos in pbx /gamemanager from the commandline ?. Sometimes I change the datavase manually and I only want to generate the missing videos (table and bachglass)

I use 1.7.3ĺ. 1.72 and 1.71 didn't work after the Haloween update. Edit: just played them. Don't see fuzzy or un-sharp during playing. Tried bttf, jaws and ET. Not that I am aware of. Need to check it. Also to attract mode ? I've made some real dmd videos caprured from attract mode and didn't noticed that they where fuzzy

I see you start dmdext twice. First just the exe file, second the correct parameters. So.. i use batch files too (not for fx3), but for vpx and pinball arcade (with dmdext in mirror mode ) and for me all fine Not at my cab now, but must be easy

You can just update without risk (even downgrade works) And @scutters and I where newbees too (i'm still am) but we try to help others

And additional to bad quality videos. I remove the downloaded files and regenerate the backglass and playfield videos with gamemanger. I regenerate all my 4k playfield videos (around 800 for vpx) 2 weeks ago, and was done in 1 hour and 10 minutes (45 seconds vids).

+1 for Draco. But the main quedtion is :Whats wrong with gamemanager? What issues do you have, that you want to reinstall. Explain your issues, post logs and maybe it can be fixed easily

I asume you don't use DOF? I thougd for proper work of Dof, you need to directb2s file. For the few tables that uses pinup player, I just load the backglass on the background (right click on the backglass and de-select to use in foreground )

Just an additional question: if you alt+tab during the table, is the pinup player loaded ? (Can you post a log.txt where yiu launched the table?)
