I don't use the "pause/in game" feature a lot, but it could be handy when phone rings, or your wife wants to have attention. It works fine with VP9 and PFX3, but most of my tables are VPX tables. When I pause in VPX a table and go back to the table, the 'focus' is still on the PinballX window instead of the VPX table. I see the VPX table on my mainscreen, but the buttons won't work. In task manager I see that PinballX is focused. Tabbing to the table all is working (but lost ball in meantime) I think this happend when I enabled "Fore exclusive Fullscreen mode" within VPX. anyone else experience this, or knows a fix for it ? log.txt [SETTINGS].log PinballX.ini

I checked today my cab, but from the launch to the totally load of pfx3 table takes 25 seconds (and because I didn't launch it for a while, it did a check on steam too) I use also the steam version as Scutter mentiod (without the -offline)

I was pretty curious too on my pincab. I don't run a after screen, because no issues with anything with my real DMD I never noticed it was slow. This is completly off topic of pinballx, but like the idea Never looked at it, but I'm curious too. If there is a nice windows 10 software that can select the songs with the cabinet buttons and show info (photo, lyrics or clip) on back glass, I'm wanting to use that too. When I'm working from home(next to my cab) a nice music player would be nice to have on it. Edit: google a bit and saw https://www.zenpoint.org/ need to check in the weekend

You could try to update b2sserver from https://github.com/nailbuster/B2S-Backglass/releases This has a feature"default is to draw backglass to 'back'. have an option in B2S settings GUI to 'bring to front' for certain tables."

Maybe stupid question, but did you check the option in gamemanager "hide backglass"?

GetI uses game manager to create playfield and back glass videos. The dmd videos I create myself as mp4 files (shows the wheel image, year of table and the company logo) In the log file I dont see any capture of the videos. Can you try to create a video from game manager abd post the logfile? (Maybe delete manualy the f4v files in the media folder)

I don't see the video capturing in your logfile. Can you recapture a table and post the logfile again ? Is your playfield not fullhd?

Can you post your latest pinballx.ini and a log file from the capturing ? Has the files created in the table video folders the same date/time stamp as in the backglass videos?

Just download ffmpeg and put the file into the pinballx directory. Not sure if it is allowed to put the file in the post

I had the same in the past. Not sure how I fixed, but I thought it has to do with the b2sTablesettings.xml Open it with notepad, find the section for avengers. Check if it is different than the other tables (like use exe) You can also delete the section and launch the table again. Hope this helps

I had the same with my Samsung Tv when starting the cab. Removing the Hdmi and put back was a workaround During powering on of the cabinet, the pc started on a 4k 60hz resolution mode, but the TV was starting in 4k 30p. This gave me the same behaviour. First as workaround I set the resolution to 4k 30hz when shutting down the pc and at startup of pbx I moved it to 4k 60hz again. Finally I changed a setting in the Tv. Set it to pc mode (but that causes some lag) and another setting (that prevents the lag), but not sure what the setting was) That fixed iyt for me And use HDMI1 port !!

Not sure if it is the best approach, but you can detach the harddrive from the system and add it to another system. Copy over all relevant data from the harddrive. Reinstall operating system and start all from scratch. Thats what I should do, but no guarantee from my side

How did you setup the tables in gamemanager ? Did you put the correct tables to the correct vp version? Best is to create sub dirs and put the correct table files in there

I have created real dmd videos with a resolution of 128x32 as mp4 file. Cost me a lot of time to figure out what the best codecs where, but finaly made them work.

If I have some time tomorrow I will try your xml files and your pinballx.ini file on my cabinet

I think you better check the eventlog of you computer what is causing this. Maybe a corrupted piece of .net

Well. Thats the issue. If I want to launch it, it says about a new version and wont launch at all. But as Draco said, why you just update the TPA version and uses the latest FCM ? Mine is always updating automaticly trough steam to the latest version (and to be honnest, I like the vpx table better than the TPA tables)

Maybe stupid question, but how can I see on the exe file which version it is ? I got a couple of back ups from the last couple of months, but checking the details it shows me 1.3.3.7. Launching the exe result that it want to update and not launching at all Please let me know, maybe I have a copy for you
