Hey @Tom Speirs I downloaded today the new version of PBX that supports animated gifs. Nice feature ! And unexpected after releasing 4.14 this week I created as example a small animated system GIF for FX : But when running PBX, I only see a still image for the system (on the system screen, but also as preview per table) Is this only for wheel images ? Or do I miss something ? Edit : Tested also a animated gif as wheel, but that's not working for me too. just a still image

If you got pupdmd to work, let me know how you did it. If I recall it right. I set an extea option for x360ce. Will check tomorroe my cab config for you

Yes. Pinballx is a frontend and will stay active (in the background). Never heard that sound stays active. But backglass, topper and dmd videos can be controlled by gamemanager and/or database manager.

I use x360ce (https://www.x360ce.com) Same for fx3. Just copied the files from my fx3 director to this. Dmdext is mirroring the part on the display to your pindmdv3. I also use that. Not sure if you can use it with pupdmdcontrol. For some reason I don't get the pupdmd to work.

I go with @Draco1962. Did you try to record a new video and is that displaying fine ?

*sarcasm ON* are there other frontends that work equally and get the best support as PinballX ? *sarcasm OFF* It looks like that your PinballX is crashing everytime you launch Visual pinball. Because the log file won't show anything. Do you see something in your Windows eventlog at that time ? If you run PinballX as admin, do you have the same ? Can you post a small video of what is happening ?

What actions did you do when creating this logfile ? It looks like you didn't select any table and didn't close PinballX. Can you try to launch a working table, close it, try launching a table that doesn't work, close pinballx and post the log?

Nobody is an idiot mate. Only I am Can you post a log file when you launch a table that didnt work ? The logfile shows a startup of pinbalx and not a launch or a quit of pinballx Edit: and as @scutters said: why do you have a table folder and a sub folder table ?

Check indeed in gamemanager/database manager that you have all the tables added. I'm in progress to create an automatic detection of the fx3 tables, but takes some time

If pinballx is starting it genetates in the log directory a log.txt. also post from the config directory the settings file

The 64 bit version should handle memory better. If it os working, use the 64 bit version

Please provide us more info. Is logfile created ? (If so, please post it). Please post your pinballx.ini (as attachment) Anything in your eventlog (system) that app is crashing ? What is your os etc ?

I thought I recorded all the arcooda tables with backglasses and put the wheels on ftp too (hexagon wheels)

Well... there is a pinballx manual: And its about knowing how pinbalkx is working, so you can setup any system From showing visual pinball, fx3, pinball arcade to even comic books. If you understand how to run a single table from the command line, yoy are able to set up on pinballx

No. You need to modify the underlay a bit so it matches the wheel locations

Think you need to adjust your image of the blue arc. No coordinates can be used if I recall it correctly
